They did this to themselves, easily could generate unique codes for Australian Open prize wheel winners instead of a generic code that can be shared. Even the Logitech 10% off vouchers were unique given out at Uni's
It’s lazyness, you can auto generate discount codes in Shopify and set the max usage to 1 to prevent code sharing.

Nah, they really didn't. That email included all of our email addresses in the To section. He didn't use the BCC or use a mailer system to send unique emails.
That is a substantial PII release of information. I'd be following that up with them and maybe an outside body. Wow.
