    price in the title?

    • Thank you for bringing it to our attention

    • Hello

      Our price is $489

      Kind Regards
      CELLMATE

      • Now that you added a price & discount code I can see that, instead of the website price of $629.

        Neg revoked.

        • -2

          Thank you for

    • 499 is a bigger number than 489

    • Don't forget the code …

      ..and free SIm🤣🤣

      • They didn't post the code or the price initially, hence it got negged (and subsequently revoked).

        • But the free SIm makes the deal 🤣

@randomusername2017: If it was Telstra mayyyyybe, but Floptus 🤔🤔🤔

@The Judge: Don't see the value in any of the starter packs 🤭

Btw.. wasn't knocking the orig neg anyways..agree with the 4yo tech comment.. especially with all the Samsung deals and sign up bonuses going around.

@randomusername2017: “Don't see the value in any of the starter packs 🤭”

Neither do they, that’s why so many sellers are giving them away for free. 😂

For a 4 year old phone, not worth. Software support is only until 2025

    • +6

Up to 2025 support is pretty good actually, just the price isn't

    • +6

Nah this comment ain’t it man. iPhone XS is the bomb. Throw anything at it and this phone will get it done. $489 as new? Not a bad price at all if you don’t include the used market. There is tons more value to get off of gumtree, marketplace etc so I would suggest that instead (bought my XS about a year and a bit ago for $425) but to say that this phone isn’t worth it at all for every single person regardless of price this is blasphemy

    • +7

Sadly 2025 will be longer than the support on a lot of new Android devices.

    • Software support is only until 2025

Just in time for the border opening of WA

      • 😂

    • i disagree. i had an iphone xs and now a 12 and 13 for work. not much of a difference at all if your just doing basic day to day activities.

  • Hey Rep, what’s the average battery health on these refurbished phone ?

  • minimum 80% and above

    • +2

How able replace the refurbished phone with a new battery and we got yourselves a deal.?

  • +6

    Hey OP,
What was done to "refurbish" the phone?

    • -6

      Hello Mate

Not a single unit has been worked upon by us. However it was part of a big lot and every device has passed through a 44 point test with no functional issues hence we confidently offer a 1 year warranty

      Kind Regards

For me this is just used and not refurbished. Nothing was done to the phone. It's unfortunately very common to mislabel a used phone as refurbished! This needs to stop! Refurbished for me means some parts have been replaced so that it feels, looks and acts like a new device. Battery should be 100% in a refurbished device! Just because there is a warranty doesn't make it refurbished!

        • +6

          Exactly! Dodgy seller.

        • +5

Yeah lol. I should sell my current phone as refurbished when I'm done with it.

      • Ha..ha..lol..44 point test.. more like disinfectant wipes on the phone surface.

        • I bet they didn't rotate the tyres. They never do.

      • +1

Yeah you’re misrepresenting used as “refurbished”.

If you want to use less misleading terminology that isn’t “used” how about “pre-owned”.

      • +1

        RIGOROUS INSPECTION lol

We looked at it so damn hard

  • +6

Only issue is 64gb just doesn't cut it these days

    • +1

Even my iphone 7 is 128Gb.

  • +9

I'd only pay this if the battery was at 100%, not 80%.

  • -3

    It's minimum 80%

    • +3

Then marketing these as ‘as new’ is a bit of a stretch. Apple recommends replacing the battery when it drops below 80% health. That could be quite soon for these phones.

  • It's minimum 80%

  • Op, able to do a code on the xs max 64gb.

  • +2

Should be labelled as USED if no refurbishing was done to the device. Misleading.

And how can you claim AS NEW when battery isn’t at least minimum 95%?

    • Yeah negged for misrepresenting used as refurbs.

Apple sells refurbed devices, and they are literally like new with full warranty.

      • Do Apple sell refurbished devices in Australia? I couldn’t see any.

        • For some reason they don’t generally sell iPhone refurbs, but they do sell refurb computers and tablets. My experience with the refurb MacBooks is they are indistinguishable from new.

          • @Mitch889: Dang, was hoping they had started selling refurb phones.

  • Hmm what will the 12mths warranty cover?
Agree with some, it's not refurbished

  • Hi rep, may I please confirm did you guys do the refurbishment? Or is it actually official Apple Refurbished?

      🤦
