  • Grabbed one thanks!

  • Anyone know what type of batteries are in these? Ni-Cd, Ni-MH or Lithium?

    • This style is NiMh 2S1P or Lithium 18650 1S1P.

Either ways not bad. For this price, i had to get a set :)

    any reviews?

  • Thanks grabbed one, for 400LED this is a really good price!

    • +5

100 LEDs per light for four lights, a bit misleading.

    Got one thanks.

Seriously… OzBargian need to have a warning for impulse buy!!

    No coupon showing

    • Yeah! Unsure where this voucher is, OP

  • Likely been ozbargained. There's a surprise.

  • Cant see the voucher, damn.

  • Where is the coupon?

  • “ Click on Voucher to get the price on check out” where do I suppose to click???

  • I think the voucher is gone, it was there when I bought about 20 min ago.

  • The voucher is coming and going. Refresh every few minutes; it went before and came back.

These things have awful quality control. Wouldn't pay more than this.

    • Cheaper the better for me.

I always conformal coat the boards, and silicone the joins.

I expect to do work on cheap LED lights, so if they can give me a bargain and cut even more corners, they're welcome.

      • Yeah, you basically have to. I was spray coating the tops but they still all died within a few months (not charging or light sensor breaking). Maybe i should soray inside also? Looking for a better spray though as it was not lasting long enough and need to re do the better solar lights i have.

The high volume of spiders here get in and nest in them aswell, eventually destroying them somehow.

        • +1

Transparent roof silicone is best for the joins.

And for the board, I use proper conformal coating, but I know plenty who use either aquarium silicone (so non acid cure), or just acrylic paint; but ymmv on those methods.

    • I bought 4 from last deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/676729

I put one under the gutter and so far is fine.

  • "…our 180 day warranty…" ? 🤔

  • +1

These things don't last. Most of mine didn't make a year, and then the white plastic dome covering the sensor crumbled because it couldn't handle the sunlight. Spend a bit more on something decent.

  • Coupon is down to 25% now ($27).
