Segway Ninebot F20A electric scooter is now on clearance at aldi for $299 (Original special buys was $499) . Many stores have the stock. You cannot check it online but if you walk in and ask the manager they may give you the details (They can check stocks at all stores and they are updated every 15 minutes)

Checked at Adelaide yesterday and many stores have the stock (not on display at most stores). Store manager confirmed few people are buying in bulk like 10-12 of them (assuming they will be reselling on different platforms)

Store manager can also check the stock at other stores and give you information of where you can find one.

      Check the bottom of receipt product code is there. Under warranty section. 708059 is the code.

    It is $399 at ALDI Canterbury (NSW). When asked the store manager why and she said every store price is different :(. Is it so?

        I got two yesterday for $399 each here in ACT. My 9 yr old daughter didn't like it so one is going back to Aldi tomorrow. It seems you are a bit desperate to get one. You can have mine if you are interested. Please note its open box and I rode it for like 10 minutes or less, but I can pack it just as it came from the store. Let me know. Cheers.

      Nops you will feel a slight resistance, i.e. there is no "neutral gear" so to say, as far as I can tell.

    Went to work (approx 3.5km) somewhat upwards slope maybe first couple hundred metres (scooter never stopped, just slowed down) - Got to work and battery was drained to 2 bars out of 6. Made it home with the last bar flashing. So much for the "20km" range (but i kinda knew this was under ideal conditons but still…). Just FYI

      Depends upon the weight of the rider I guess. I weigh 94kgs and it barely makes up slight slopes. Battery is better than yours though, not sure why.

    I got one for my wife just before Xmas. 6km ish trip in and back from her work and it's sitting at close to empty (down to one red bar) so 20km range is a bit of a far fetch - maybe one dead flat road. This is on the standard mode (not Eco or Turbo) and with regenerative braking at medium. All firmware updates done.

    Funny thing is, she seemed to think it was returning with 40% battery when she first started the commute, so not sure if the battery is depleting or she has just got more comfortable with the speed and now applying more throttle.

    So thinking of getting another charger for her to keep at work - worth trying to find an aftermarket or go with the official one?

    The output is 41V 1.7A - is this the same as the other segway models ES1/ES2/ES4 with the same plug barrel etc - cant seem to find a listing for the F series on Amazon or eBay.

      And there's your problem. The latest firmware v5.6.9 has completely screwed these scooters. Mine was fine until I updated, now I'm lucky to get 8km - was getting 18 before.

        Interesting, have not heard of that, but makes sense, that probably does align with what we've seen with the scooter. It was getting great range for a while there, then just started reducing quickly - had thought the battery was faulty, but firmware could be the culprit here. Hopefully they release and update to address it.

          That update came out about 2 weeks ago, so that's when your issues would've started.
          They are aware of it and apparently working on a fix, but I really wish they would just re-release the previous firmware in the meantime.
