    If I don't have a vpn for the tv, do I just try to find the USA APK of the paramount+ app and then try logging in with that on my phone and chromecast it to the LG oled? If anyone has any easier ways please let me know. Thanks

    How do you watch on an iPhone/iPad now you have the subscription? when trying to play with safari or chrome it’s trying to download the US app which is not available from the App Store.

    Do you use a different browser (safari and chrome don’t play and ask to download the US app) or can you use the AU store app with your US account?

    Or what method do people use?

    Kind of related: ethicality aside, would kodi+the crew+debrid subscription be the most reasonable price-convenience halfway point to do these streaming thingies, or is there an easier/more streamlined experience that is cheaper?

        I tried Real Debrid with Syncler (not plus) and The Crew……what a mess. How does this make things better? am I missing something?
        Syncler was AWFUL to setup and the non plus didnt include Express setup which I tHiNk is part of the problem as it only seemed to get stuff from Real Debrid, couldnt be bothered trying anymore….wheres the docs!?! The Crew was easy to setup, horrible interface. Click into a bunch of pages and I had to keep clicking parent directory to get back to the main screen, couldnt find a button to just go back to the main menu, maybe Im missing it somewhere….otherwise it was much better than syncler, actually finding episodes just in bad quality.
        I tried a bunch of shows and when it wasnt giving me the wrong episode or even show the bulk of the time it gave me crap quality. Even on new shows, both could only find crap versions of Cobra Kai season 4…..even tho theres plenty of good ones.
        Ill keep playing with them (Ill pay for syncler+ on thursday) but so far I dont see it helping my mate. Personally Ill stick with my torrent box, its slow compared to most (part of the cheap versions limit, its only 12.5 Megabytes a second and no apps, they moved them up a tier, dont use em anyway), but its under $10 and has 600gig of storage so I can load it with all I like and its just there. Noticed real debrid has a max 30 day life for file you down.
        Am I missing something?

          Have only paid for Plus and never had any real issues. Yeah it's a pain to set up but once its done it's pretty smooth.

            @Whatisthatvelvet: I got impatient and paid for the syncler+ (20 odd bucks to satisfy my curiosity;P). Its MUCH better now.
            I still have LOTS of problems with it, why can I limit by min size but not max?…I wouldnt suggest anyone with a limit to use auto select unless they spend time changing the options. Why no real file name?….with that I could avoid all the false positives trying to watch s01e01 of walking dead. If tags are bad for making it lag then why not just enable me to include the important ones in the file name (for me it was h265, I want them). The internal player couldnt handle a bunch of files, so had to use it with MX Pro, luckily I have a copy thanks to OzBargain ;p but worry how it will go on a box with the browser in the background. Cant down individual files from a torrent on RD. The RD addon for firefox does nothing, might look into that in the future, got a greasemonkey script in the meantime. I could go on.
            But all in all, thats a real good combination of services, a lot cheaper than most torrent boxs with a nice interface and great speeds. They just need to make it easier for a noob to set it up for their needs, not just assume everyone has no data limits and want 4k. I was able to get it pretty much the way I want for my mate, except a few things that there is just NO way to change.
            Ive only used it on Bluestack on my pc so far, be interesting to see how well it works on cheap android boxs in the next few days. I have only a 1gig box, I gave my 4gig one to my mate.
            Thanks for mentioning it tho, will be good to suggest to some people in the future.

          It’s crap lol. People are always praising it but I have no idea why. Even kodi/wonder box with elementum isn’t much chop, but it’s free and depending on your internet speed and the file it can start playing the file as it downloads via BitTorrent https://github.com/elgatito/plugin.video.elementum - you can set it to use private trackers - and obviously it’s going to be decent quality lol

      Works fine on my PC (using Nord USA.)
      On my Pixel and Sony TV it gives the message you're getting (connected to Nord LA or NY.)
      (On Nord USA it showed a login screen… in Spanish, but wouldn't let me log in.)
      Tried Ivacy on my phone - when I was connected to Nord USA Paramount thought I was in Romania(?), connecting to Seattle gave me 'region not supported.'

    Thanks for this. I used the random Zip Visa as payment on Sportsline. The payment has already come out of my Zip though.$13ish AUD. I did the cancel thingo and got the extra free six months. I probably missed the step to put in the code maybe???? I dunno. Still pretty cheap for 6 months of Paramount+. Was never interested in the AU one so I hope the US one has better choices. "Sport" is not in my vocab haha

    Doesn't work for me using PIA VPN, it says I'm in a different country. Managed to log into Paramount with browser but when I click a show to watch, it sends me to download the app and then says app isn't available in my country.     I managed to sign up for both Sportsline and Paramount+ fine using a VPN but getting P+ to actually work on any of our Apple devices is a headache. Works on PC with just Getflix (no VPN) no dramas and on my iPhone with the VPN on but no matter what I do the loading wheel just continues to spin after selecting to play something on the Apple TV.

      The workaround is to sign up for a US paramount plus account directly on the Paramount plus website. Go to the US Paramount website in a different tab. Select a plan, sign up, go to the payment page and leave before you enter any card details.

    Not sure if someone has mentioned this or not, but for those wanting to use on fire tv stick (maybe google chromecast tv as well), I just sideloaded the US version of Paramount+ (Paramount+ | Peak Streaming (Android TV) 8.0.54 version. Make sure it's com.cbs.ott version and not the com.cbs.app version. At least with me, I had some glitches/compatibility issues with the com.cbs.app version on my fire stick).

    Signed in with US vpn server connected and it has been perfect. I'll just be keeping the paramount plus app as only app passing through US vpn server.

      Can confirm this worked on my Google tv with Chromecast using the APK. Had to use a file transfer app to actually download the apk on the tv but after that works fine as long as us VPN is running (I used Nord).

          Do u mean chromecast with Google tv? Because it runs Android TV with a skin so you need the apk above which needs to be sideloaded via a file transfer app from your phone (I used send files to tv) then you need an Android tv vpn app connected to a USA server - for example surfshark.
