Show me on the doll where Luke extracted the deal pricing :)

    • +22

if only I had a giant pickle. behold! fingers but hole

      • +3

        you don't have the right

        • +7

O why is it always you don't have the right

  • +5

    Holddddd!!

    • +8

      IM TRYING!!

  • +8

I'd go for the MSI power supply if I were you, the GP-P750GM is known to explode… ;)

(They've probably fixed this model by now, but its name is mud)

    • +1

I hear they strap a grenade to them now for a bigger bang

    • Not Au ones, only the usa ones explode

      • the Aus ones explode too, just with an accent

  • +3

Hot damn! Getting harder to hold every week, these deals are getting steamy

  • This is like gambling. How long does one even hold? Prices are plummeting

  • +4

Hi Luke. The 10th gen CPU disables the PCIE 4.0 M.2 slot on B560 motherboard while 11th gen does not. I understand the performance gap is small but it is a pain to lose storage expansion on the motherboard.

  • +2

Damn, this is approaching what I paid for 2070 super ans 3600 2 years back.

That's a lot of GPU for this bundle price…

  • -2

How much longer should we hodl :/

    • +12

      just buy bro

  • Luke, I want something powerful… Something sexy ..
Similar to the titan tech i9 build last week .. what ya got ?

    • +11
      • Omg😂

      • So it's a no :(

        • The i9/R9 space hasn't traditionally been one we operate in. There's not enough core demand for how we operate/purchase etc.

        • Titan tech one still seems to be available at time of posting, you could buy that one?

To be honest the techfast 12700F seems better bang for your buck but if you need those extra 4 cores/threads on top of the 12/20 in the 12700 then so be it

  • +1

Good price for the 5600X rig. Time to stop hodling!

  • Diving in!

  • what's the ETA on these to be built and delivered to Melbourne?
Looking for something that can be received within 1-2 weeks time.

    • +2

Intel stock on hand to go into build, AMD versions later this week into next. Both should be deliverable within the 2 weeks to Vic

  • Would there be any different case options??

  • I bought it as a guest and didnt get any ids/receipt or anything at all, could you help me out with getting this info?

    • Thanks! PMd

  • +7

Guys .. Just wanted to let the people know (who are not so sure about the builds or the company).

I ordered the i7 build posted in one of the previous deals and i just received it today in pristine packing and it works very well. Had my doubts but were found baseless.

    Thanks luke!!

Note: The customer service was good too as they responded to my queries faster than i had anticipated. Top notch service.

    • +1

Yes I was happy with my purchase from these guys. Took some time to get here but I knew it would when I ordered.
Worth it though, price and quality are great!

Stoked they are selling the same machine at a lower price, as I can claim price protection from my credit card. :)

    • Are the case fan curve optimised out of the box? Or do they run at full speeds?

  • +2

Wow, from their last deal less than 2 weeks, $200 drop on 3070Ti prebuilt !!! Glad I keep holding, bet will drop again in 2 weeks time. But now we are waiting for BPC counter-attack maybe?

  • @Luke
In the AMD Variant, what brand motherboard is likely with the upgrade? AMD B550M WiFi [M-ATX] Motherboard.
I just went and googled AMD B550M and now more confused than i was before.

Trying to work out if the Intel or AMD works out better for me. Leaning towards the AMD but it seems like the Intel MB upgrade to the MSI B560M MAG Mortar WiFi for ~$69 is better than upgrading the AMD. Unless of course that B550M is on par or better than the MSI B560M.

    • +1

It's a fair question. The most likely AMD B550 WiFi board would be the MSI Pro VDH WiFi. The B560 Mortar WiFi is a better board for the Intel SKU.

  • +2

For all of you HODLers out there: probably as good as it gets.
I upgraded some parts on the 5600x build as it's listed here (MOBO, RAM, storage, but with an original 3070) back in February 2021, and with the same changes in this build it comes to slightly less with a 3070ti! Considering memory prices on SSDs and RAM this is a decent deal

  • Hey Luke, I feel weird posting in this thread but currently I have this weird rattle noise coming from my new PC (got from you guys), what do you think what would be the issue?

    • +3

Rattling could be cable clipping a fan. Open the side panel and put your ear close and see where it’s coming from. If it sounds like one of the case fans, Try turning off the PC, opening the case and putting your finger or pen or something in between the blades of a case fan to stop them spinning, then turn the PC on. Again, make sure the PC is off before putting your finger/thing in. Do this one by one for the case fans and the GPU fans, see if you can isolate it. Or, send a video to [email protected] and they’ll try to diagnose from there

  • this one or dell ebay ~$1800

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/334292238225?hash=item4dd55ebf91…

    I don't play video good.

It is mainly for photoshop and lightroom

    • +2

If you are playing video 'bad', TF deal still much better with 3070Ti is galaxy miles away from the 1650

    • +1

Faster CPU and more RAM would be more important for Photoshop/lightroom.

Really depends on what you are doing. With large projects and multitasking you would want 32GB of RAM and at least an i7 (or AMD). 16GB of RAM and an i5 would be suitable for most hobbyists.

Check out this benchmark to get an idea of performance difference between the CPUs.
      https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/Adobe-Photoshop-1…

The i7-12700 in the Dell looks great for photoshop. It is worth checking reviews to ensure there is no thermal throttling or other issues with the Dell. It looks like you should be able to add extra RAM if you need it, but worth confirming.

Dunno if the Dell is a good deal or not. Worth trying to match it on au.pcpartpicker.com

    • eBay is junk, Luke has the best option with the 3070Ti by far.

  • 3070 ti $1400-1500 dec last year, this deal is very solid. compared to 8 weeks ago.

  • Just checking for real, this is tri fan?
I have a I5 / 3060 TI Aorus Elite set up and would just buy this, switch out the 3060 ti aorus into this and sell it off and keep the 3070 ti,

    • Yep triple fan

  • Hi Luke,

Is it possible to pay a little bit extra to swap the case out for a different one? I need a slightly smaller ATX case so that it would fit in my desk mount.

    tia

    • +2

Unfortunately that's all we have. There wouldn't be too many smaller than the Forge capable of fitting a full length 3-fan card in it though. I mean there would be out there in the world of cases, but we tend to get more versatile options that can fit various purposes/configs we offer

  • -1

Feels weird that this cpu is only 20% faster than my 10 year old i7 3770, are cpus really changing that slowly?

    • +2

by what metric, because that is hilariously wrong (most benchmarks show it at least doubling performance)

      • -1

Oh I was just looking at the userbenchmark site for effective speed lol.

  • Intel or amd is best for mainly photoshop , illustrator?
Im only light gaming ( cod, pes..)

  • +1

I can't seem to get to the techfast website - hope they not gone already

    • Back up and running.

  • Hi Luke,

I've been contacted by Henry in regards to my order, however, I am unable to get back to him as it says the email domain is incorrect, the website doesn't work either so I was wondering how I could get in touch with him.

    Thank you

    • +1

Back up and running now - would you mind resending the email just to be sure it gets through?

  • Oh no website is gone and email domain incorrect, whats going on?

    • Back up and running.

  • How many m.2 slots on the b550/560 with WiFi?

    • Dos

      • For the b560 will only one slot work with 10th gen Intel CPUs?

        • With a 10th gen processor, yep that's right. We only offer 1 NVME drive on that listing so the customer can't select 2 and not be able to use one, from us. But the board has 2 slots. An 11th gen CPU would be required to access both slots.

  • Has anyone bought one of these and can confirm the RAM / SSD it comes with? The unknowns in this aspect are the only things stopping me from pulling the trigger on this one over the BPCTech 3070 build.

  • Just wondering what it shows 1688 on OzBargain but 1888 on the website

    • +1

You need to apply discount code

  • Hi there,

  • can i use a pcie bluetooth dongle with the mobo in 3070ti amd build

  • Definitely tempted here - what SSD/RAM will come with this?

  • Is it possible to order the Ryzen 5 system with a 5600G and minus the graphics card?
