Lenovo Ideapad Flex 14-inch R5/16GB RAM/512GB SSD 2 in 1 Device $1195 + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ Harvey Norman

130

Was searching for new laptop, caught my eye due to it's price (for a 360 convertible laptop) - without skimping much on ram/ssd size/cpu.
If can't find in store, delivery ~$9.95.

CPU has an average benchmark of 13,198 (on PassMark), first released ~1 year ago.

Is it worth $200 more for aus stock and 256gb additional ssd? Hmmm… Wish good guys has stock, have store credit left.

I'd say yes. Easier to resell later, and laptops have issues much too often for comfort. I got two of these for work and one had issues with fan making a noise after 2 months

So this special is back after a fortnight.

We bought one last time. Can get another $30 off by asking the right person. Some will reject.

  • Was looking for specs like these based on my kids high school IT requirements as they’re using some Adobe product that needs a minimum of 16gb of RAM. How good is this processor? what intel chip does it compare to?

  • The build quality on these are pretty average, I wouldn't expect the hinges to last more than a few years.

  • Great laptop with really impressive multi-tasking performance. HOWEVER, the usb-c port IS NOT THUNDERBOLT. This means no display signal over usb-c. If you do use it, it will be usb based (so it will require a usb to display adapter - this sucks). They really only want you charging with that port. Such a shame. I have experience with this laptop.
