Sapphire Radeon RX 6900XT TOXIC Limited Edition Graphics Card $1449 Delivered @ PCByte

1440

This is a pretty amazing graphics card, but not really for everyone as it requires room for a 360mm radiator - yes that means it has All-In-One cooling! As far as I'm aware the previous best price was around $2199. Not sure how much is in stock, it seems to only be available online (so no store pick up).

According to Steve from Hardware Unboxed: "It's pretty amazing, in fact it's very amazing" and "it's one cool customer." Take from that what you will.

    • So you can run it to laptops with USB C?

      • Not sure what it means, maybe VR - but there are usbc-dp cables

    • It better not, I need 3 DP ports like it said it had.

  • Price spotted for 6950 XT this is a steal.

They can stick that price where the sun don't shine

  • Can this fit in a Lian Li Dynamic 011 Full Case? 360mm AIO on the top. So maybe on the bottom, which isn't the best for the pump, so vertical, on the back? Unsure if it would fit there….

    • You tell us?!

    • I have a 360mm on the top so will put this one on the front/side with tubes down — top of the loop will be top of the radiator so pump will be fine.

      I am hoping.

  • Pulled the trigger on 3.

    Nahhhhh thanks.

    Definitely a cool looking card.

This looks unbelieveable! SAPPHIRE have been creating interesting GPU's for ages :)

  • I like the design of this AIO. Only downside is it may not last longer than 5 years

    • Or, it could last 10+ years

      • +1

it could outlast us all, or it could break like a lot of AIOs after 5 years.

  • How is the the card "one cool customer" when YOU'RE the "customer"?

That reviewer is straight (profanity) up.

    Thanks OP ordered one!

Does anyone know if the pump is located on the block or in the radiator?

    • +1

on block, teardown on hardware unboxed

      • Thanks mate

Ordered! time to sell my 1070ti!

I want to mount this sexy GPU vertically in my case, should be easy i have vertical slots. But i went down a wormhole about GPU riser cables last night. i have a x570 mobo could anyone recommend a good PCL-E 4.0 riser cable that would suit my needs?

      • Me too but dont want to spend $100 :)

        • yeah same, I changed my mind after writing this… The whole point of my new build is to have the best performance to price i can. would look cool though.

          • +1

@SHINYSHINY: Spending an extra $100 to make the build more like what you want isn't necessarily a bad thing. Nothing wrong with considering aesthetics instead of just pure performance.

  • The water cooling is the selling point IMO. GPU temp is usually high and the cooling option isn't as variable as CPU

Sold an unopen 3080ti for this. Should tide me over until next gen is released.

Canceled my order, I don't know how much longer I would have had to live knowing I bought this a day before my Mrs birthday and spending more on myself.

  • Hahaha they put it up to $1699.

Purchased Sunday and still nothing but the invoice. Not even shipping confirmation. Kind of poor performance.

      • same

        • Same, got shipping notification yesterday but it's still waiting for AusPost to pick it up.
Not a fan of when retailers lie about "in stock"

          • +1

@[Deactivated]: They constantly lie about everything. Definitely the last time i am buying something from them.

I just picked it up today looks great but pretty hard to accommodate 2x360 coolers in Bequiet 802 case.

The cards seems to have coil whine when under load.. it’s my 3th 6900xt and all of them have had this 😕

It is also a bit noisier than the gigabyte 6900 xt gaming oc.

But the look of this card.. +10 to awesomeness 🤣

    • Trying to accomodate 2 x 360 mm coolers too , Coolermaster H500 mesh - wondering if since cpu (5800X) which is only 120W should go on intake front and this on the top exhaust since it is 300W+ ? And leaving the 200mm fans on front but have the 3X 120mm as pull on the rear of the 360mm deepcool. Decisions decisions :)

PS FINALLY got Aus post confirmation delivery today - 3 weeks it has taken

      • I hope it will arrive soon.. keep us updated and let me know how it goes with mounting it all, I worked quite a sweat doing that :D

  • Slightly regret not buying this but I would have had to buy a new case just for it.

  • Wow nearly $2700 on eBay lolz yes should have hot one too 👍😁

Edit: it's still in stock but a tiny bit more expensive by a tiny $250 think still worth it at $1699 👌

Plus new case and powersupply too boot 👢

    No water cooling version $1399

Shame these don't hash as well as the 3090's

  • Which driver/software is everyone using for this card? By the looks of it majority isn't working properly with win 10 64bit
