    Guys I snagged one with Distill Web Monitor on Chrome, happened to go off when I was on screen - try it out.

    First it showed a $1200 one from mobile brothers or something, then couple mins later the 'sold by Amazon' one showed.

      I'd imagine it depends on where it's shipping to. Brisbane and other capital cities have Amazon Logistics for postage so they can do 1 day shipping.

      That said, I've ordered things that said "free 1 day shipping" and then the order page said it would come 2+ days later before.

    this console generation is probably the worst ever in history - since when was it a time where you can't simply go to a store a purchase a new gaming console!???

    I'm just going to skip the ps5 entirely, and focus on PC gaming.

      There will be PS5 pro And if you want to wait for PS6 it’s not gonna be available until maybe 5 years. If you have already had powerful pc obviously you don’t need ps5 (although I have both and PS5 just for exclusive titles). But GPU price has only just recently gone down in the past few weeks and not to mention you still have to spend 2x more on GPU for the same performance. To be honest it’s not a fair comparison PS5 is more for who has a family and a living room. But I have to admit it’s actually not many exclusive titles in current expensive gaming industry. I only have had like 3 games on PS5, all exclusive titles, I also sold the discs when I completed the game. I assume there will be less than 5 exclusive titles each year that I will be interested in in the future, but for that alone it’s well worth to get ps5 for me, also that’s why I don’t want xbox as it’s more like a pc only for gaming.

          AFAIK there have merely been rumours so far. I'd say the earliest we'd see proper news of it is maybe next year (considering PS4 Pro/Slim were released 3 years after the PS4)

            @jjsu: I would say they'll keep producing the PS5 until people stop buying them. If they can't already meet demand why change? They'd only change if a new design was somewhat cheaper to build.

        PS6 in 5 years. That's too soon. Earliest I reckon is around 2030. But more realistically 2035. Hopefully with 10TB of storage atleast, but knowing Sony probably get 1.5TB for the PS6.

    Amazon has to be the hardest outlet to get a PS5 from.

    EB Games is probably the easiest. And maybe JB Hifi depending on local availability.

      I can tell you that no Australian retailer makes it easy because of their poor backend infrastructure. Generally the sites get overloaded and you can't progress from your cart.
      Amazon don't suffer from this if you're quick enough.
