      X supports all 5G band and F3 does not. I read a few complaints about reception issues on F3. Reception is the most important thing on a phone so went for this.

        The Samsung will always be better than these midrange ones, forget xiaomi ones. The cpu is a bottleneck for camera AI processing, and Xiaomi have been behind Samsung processing for a while.

        However, how much it matters depends on how important low light means to you.

      I have this phone. Was pleasantly surprised by the camera. Certainly no pixel, but I find myself actually taking pics where before with a different budget phone, it was trash.

          Yeah I don't mind it (the camera). I don't believe it can shoot in 4k if that matters to you though. I know my partner would like a phone with a better camera though.

          But for taking pics of plants/fam, there's no issue. What I wanted most was a headphone jack and the ir remote (fan/Aircon/tv)

          Can confirm it can do always on display

    So the 695's utility probably comes from the fact that it's under-powered which means the battery will last a bit longer at the cost of performance. Compare this to my RN8 Pro which is blazing fast even though it's a 3 year old phone but it chews up the battery with a measly 5 hours screen on time.

      I have a Poco X3 NFC with SD 732 chipset. SD 695 performs better than 732 in most situation. Now, even with 732, performance is great if you do not play games.
      I run crDroid custom ROM and performance is even better than Xiaomi ROM. I paid $350 via Amazon UK. Poco X4 adds a better camera, AMOLED screen, more RAM, double the internal storage (also much faster UFS 2.2), 5G, 67W charging (much faster than on X3). So, if you don't own a Poco X3 NFC, then, this is a great phone in this price range. For me, it wouldn't be much of an upgrade, so, I'm skipping it. I have zero issues with my X3.

          I wouldn't call it a garbage phone. It ticks things I want in a phone: AMOLED, 8/256GB, headphone jack, sd slot, good endurance rating. I only play emulated games which this does without issue. The processor is more than enough for regular usage outside of gaming. The X3 and F3 would be a downgrade for me (lose OLED or headphone jack).

      Im waiting for the F3 to come back on sale aswell.
      Considerably more powerful processes and also a brighter screen.
      The X4 does however have expandable storage and 3.5mm jack if those are important to others

    One of the UK user reviews states: "Poco's MIUI 13 custom skin contains ads. Apparently, During the launch of MIUI 12, Xiaomi (Poco's parent company) did mention the presence of a one-tap option to disable system-wide ads, but that feature was missing in the global build. It boots with Android 11, not the latest Android 12 version, so you don't get any of the features like the revamped widgets and their new widget page in the app drawer."

      With the X3 Pro I followed an online guide to remove the ads and useless apps from MIUI 12, 6 months later and I've never seen an add… I haven't updated to 13, I assume it's much the same with the ads…

    I purchased the 6/128gb from Amazon UK that was shared here the other week. One thing to note is that the included 67W fast charger is UK socket, so I went to Kmart and got an adapter for ~$7.

    I'm upgrading from a late-2017 smartphone, so this should be way better in every regard. But I notice in both deal threads that a lot of people were against this phone due to the lower performance vs the X3 Pro, but do consider that this X4 Pro has other improvements like 5G, better screen, faster charging, etc. I compared to similar priced phones available on JB Hifi website, and this seemed the best option. It seemed like you had to spend over $500 to get something with all specs better than this X4 Pro.

      Even though the processor is slower than the X3 Pro, etc, it's still no slouch. It beats my aging LG V30 easily and that was a flagship (albeit 5 years ago). It can easily handle general tasks and from the reviews I watched it can pump out a playable 30-60fps in all the demanding games. Also the stability of the SoC is one of the best (no overheating which causes throttling). I think the advantages far outweigh the "slower" processor. I mean at the end of the day your phone is the screen, so I'd take a nice OLED display with less performance over an aging IPS display with more performance.
