In stock at time of posting.

Other Models 14, 15, and 17 available. (https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/store/collections/gamingpcs)

Razer 14 available and $100 cheaper than previous deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/687654)
Someone in the comments of this mentioned 10% off xbox gift-cards which could be used as well.

Blade 17(17.3" FHD 360Hz Laptop, i7-11800H, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, RTX3070) may also be an option if you want the larger laptop with a higher refresh rate, but note it's only a 1080p screen. (https://www.jw.com.au/razer-bladepro17-fhd-i7-11800h-16g-1t-…)

Unfortunately no variants available with the RTX 3080 on the Microsoft store, there are older models available with 10th gen cpu's but are about 10-15% slower depending on your usage which may also be an option. (https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/laptops-&-notebooks/gami…)

  • How is warranty/after care for Razer products in Australia?

    • +3

I recently contacted them to order a CMOS battery for a 2019 model as they use a custom battery module and not a battery you can buy in store. They refused to sell me the battery so I can replace it myself and asked I send my device in at my own cost to have CMOS battery replaced.

    • From experience - absolute crap.

What makes this deal worth the extra $2300 compared to this one?

All I could find is it has a QHD display and it's about a centimetre thinner.

    • Aorus is Gigabyte's thicker variant of their laptop… Their thinner ones are the Aero. The Razer ones are usually thinner and some people may prefer it for portability but yeah for sure the performance is better on Aorus.

  • I think this was quite a bit of a better deal for the 15 and the 14

i think you can also pick up the same spec with additional 5% off at time of writing here https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Razer-Blade-15-Advanced-QHD-240H…

Too expensive for 11th gen CPU.

$3.3K for a laptop, it isn't great value.

    • Yeah and apparently you're saving $1300 wtaf! This should be half that price.

Laptops with similar specs, full powered 3070s, qhd screens could be had for under $2k since last year.

Don't pay 3k for a last gen CPU!

  • Not really a deal at that price.

  • Please don't take this as a rant but something to be in mind. (Especially people who had brought it recently needs to be mindful)
Just brought one when eBay had 20% off, everything is great except usb-c won't charge the unit, i tried changing the bios setting, upgrading the bios and still won't charge.
Spoke to razer support, first they request me with fill in ALL the details and supply the receipt, and at the same time do what is instructed on the help webpage… That didn't work. Cut all the middle backward and forwards, they told me that they can't do shit cause Microsoft is not an "authorise reseller" so i need to speak with eBay Microsoft.

So i email Microsoft eBay, told them the problem and all they said was they don't do exchange and can only refund the thing and re-purchase it once the fund is back into my account. And to the people at ozbargain, you should already have another question in mind, so who the hell is going to make up the difference if I repurchase it?

Well that's the end of my story and thanks for reading, but a word of advise, especially to the people that had brought it not long ago, fingers cross your unit isn't going to have issue in the long run otherwise you are really up shit creek. Maybe refund and buy something else would be a solution for the long run.

    • Hence my comment above - similar experience. I will actually never buy Razer again.

Been through 4 units from 1 single purchase having sent the unit back and forth for repair (it was freezing constantly) then the only option they gave me was store credit and had to get a unit which was about $1300 more.

Even that one had more blue screens than usual but was bearable enough for me to give up.

Worst computer and company I ever bought/from in about 40 years of owning computers.
