  • this seems much better for less:

    • Guess MSI is a known brand. But yeah this is a better config.

    • I would agree with this, seems like a far superior product

  • Agreed.

800x480 on a tablet is simply unacceptable these days.

  • old tablet is old?

perhaps this is a better option?

    • +2

The Kogan is a MUCH better tablet. Much more modern OS, better screen, faster, more RAM, for just a little more money. If people can't afford a mainstream tablet with all the accompanying support, the Kogan would be the one to go for.

  • I have the 10" version (was $179). It is good for media playing, but a bit laggy and buggy for web browsing. It is also a bit hit and miss with games - some just don't work. Build quality is high, and I think eventually the software will get improved to make this a good all-round device.
That said, MSI is still releasing updates every now and then.
I would choose an up to date no-name brand if I was buying again.

  • I purchased this; Went and got a refund the next day.

Description picture in "Mutimedia application expendability" shows a direct picture of a "3G Sim Card"

WiFi Only. And the entire Tablet is slow, and not even worth $99.00 tbh.

Reason for negging: It's not a bargain, if your intention is to be used by 5 year olds it's perfect. Don't buy it if your expecting anything close to an iPad

    • +1

Well you can't really be expecting anything close to an iPad if you're paying ~$150.

I'm just curious if they will put other MSI tablets on 40% off too! I missed out on the Windows based one the last time round!

  • Slow, buggy, has really bad screen. Had to return it the next day. Would not pay more than $50 for it.

  • they were $124 from bigw back in march http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/65011
