These are stunning retro-looking watches that, in my opinion, are some of the nicest looking retro-watches you can buy!

This release is part of the hugely popular "archive" series that Bulova produces focusing on some of their most iconic designs.

This specific piece is a re-issue from a 70's chronograph they released which was casually referred to as the "Surfboard" due to its unique oval sandwich dial. This modern version has a double domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 200m water resistance & a rubber strap with a signed butterfly clasp.

    OP did ask for opinions. It appears at least two people don't believe in freedom of expression. I like it but it's pushing the boundaries just a little too much considering it's quartz.

      I don't like it either, looks a bit too off, and like a cheapest novelty watch.

      Each to their own obviously, when someone writes something it's usually their option.

    I wouldn’t go that far, but it’s not to my taste.
    To me it looks like it was designed in the 1950s to look like something that would be worn in the future.

      Too many to list. Top 10 AliExpress watches are usually good guides on YouTube and feature reverse types of microbrands.
      Anyway go for it if you like the retro surf theme, just saying $500 isn't that cheap

          Bulova is one of them but never mind.
