      live in a better city?

      • -1

        Says the user from Perth!

        • -3

The house I rent is worth ~$1m and I'm about a 10 minute walk to the CBD.
Hate us 'cos you ain't us!

  • +1

    Can't even deliver -
"The delivery address is outside our delivery zone. Please select pick up or try a different address."

    • +12

buy a new house closer so you can try a different address.

      • +14

Dont be silly, its more efficient to pick up your own TGG franchise. That way, you can get the deals before the even run out the door!

        • +3

Nah just buy up factories in China.

          • @andresampras: I suppose that means we should pick up Kmarts instead?

            • @ATangk: Is there something I don't know about the origin of TGG own-brand product? Is it not majority China-sourced?

              • +1

@andresampras: Not so much TGG but I believe Kmart has some sort of vertical integration. So they have their own dedicated factories producing their Anko products.

          • @andresampras: Just buy a toaster.

  • +2

    VBC is a must-have

  • +3

That internal debate between wanting to make use of the deal, but not having any need for another toaster.
Guess I'll pass for someone else :D

    • +2

Not to mention the other 2 brand new, still boxed, toasters you have in the cupboard

  • +1

No more local Sydney pickup locations left.

You can get delivery though. Grabbed 3 (max allowed) which sort of justifies the delivery price a bit more.. I guess.

    Thanks OP.

    • +1

Thanks for the tip, I got 3 delivered too. Total for $22

      • Same - I guess they are good to gift! I have no space in my kitchen!! ;)

    • +1

Haha got 3 delivered too. spares and present🤣🤣🤣

      🙏🙏🙏

      • Yeh I checked around. Everything else under $20 is plastic, so definitely worth it for $7.30 each delivered!

        • It says stainless steel FINISH. Does this mean it is plastic?

    • Nooo… just told me they had to cancel 1 due to no stock and can only deliver 2.

Cost per item just went up :(

      • was your order in your order history?
mine seems to be missing from the order history even though I had received the confirmation order email.

        • I just checked and it's not there. I don't know if it's because I did a quick paypal checkout or because like you it's just missing.

          • @Devil: i also did the paypal checkout.. hrmmm

        • Same here. Got email but no show in the order history.
          Did the paypal checkout…

Ebay link, delivery not free and not combined.

    • Pick is available via ebay

  • +5

Keeps the bath nice and toasty

  • +5

Anyone else get the 3 years gold service for $30?

    • +5

Worth it. They send you $20 vouchers with no min spend 3 or 4 times each year for 3 years. Iirc. They also stock regular 4 pack eneloops for $25.

But you gotta c&c.. For me I wrap it with a bunnings trip as there's a gg near bunnings

    • Not worth it. the 20 dollar coupons expire in about a week. You can't stack them. Unless you have under 20 dollar items lines up for every three months, this is not worth it.

      • Yes, eneloops. Otherwise, not worth it.

        Usually 3-4 days expiry iirc

    • I was too stressed that it'd run out of stock while in checkout so I didn't even look at the benefits until after the purchase. Do you know if you can add gold service after the sale is finalised? Or tough luck?

  • +2

thanks for the amazing deal. However closest 1 to me is 300kms away, maybe next time

  • +4

If I take this to the checkout, will I get charged with a Solt??

    • Don't be Solty

    • only if you buy a battery at the same time

  • When I saw Henry toaster, I thought it was like a Henry vacuum

    • Same, my disappointment was immense and day ruined.

    • -1

I thought it was like a Henry vacuum

That realisation sucks, you must be so disappointed

  • +1

at this rate, this deal gonna be toast soon!

    • -1

      SOLT!

  • +1

Thanks, got one. For the price it's worth a try, hopefully it's better than my current pos.

  • +1

Four bucks for the toaster and eight bucks to deliver it. Perhaps they should advertise it as "Buy some delivery for $12 and get a free toaster!"

  • Thanks! I was looking to buy one from Woolies yesterday for $40 - glad I didn't. I only need it for occasional use.

    • +2

      Why $40 ?

Kmart have a reasonable range of toasters that are less than $40.

      • I can't get to those department stores very easily.

    • +1

if you pay that sort of money, may as well buy the DeLonghi 4-slice toaster from Aldi when they start reducing the price. Seems there is left over in every store I went.

      • They were $70 in my local Aldi, they might come down a bit, but down to $4?

        • I mean if someone pay $40 for a toaster, may as well wait for theDeLonghi 4-slice to go on clearance in Aldi. Its usually 30% off (not guarantee) so it will go around $55 if it happen.

  • Ordered. My current toaster setting is either uncooked bread or burnt with no in-between but i'm stubborn and been using it for years so i imagine basically anything will be an improvement.

  • Bought. See how we go

  • +2

I have no need for a toaster, but I've just donated $8 to some freight company on the off chance my current toaster dies.

  • +6

    Do i need one? NO
    Did i Buy One? YES

    • Just made some vegemite on toast. The toaster is very old so hey why not lol.

  • +2

This will be a small upgrade from my $7.50 kmart toaster, thanks OP. Comparable kmart stainless steel toaster is $24.

  • +1

now all I need is a wedding invitation ;)

  • OOS Both delivery and pickup for me

    • Still available on eBay

  • +1

Almost bought 3..no idea why. My toaster is fine!

  • Wonder how accurate their online stock inventory is. The fact it hasn't been ozbargained probably means it's not very accurate.

  • There isn't a store within 500km that has your order in stock. Booking my flight tickets to pickup

  • $30 delivery for two, no deal X

    • through good guys 3 for $22 delivered… ebay delivery is more expensive..

  • -1

Also don't forget to shop through cashrewards, additional 3% reward. :)

  • Got one for click and collect through the eBay link. Idk why I got one but I did.

  • +1

I am now $4 poorer but 1 toaster richer. Thanks OP.

  • going to hand in my Ozbargain membership - I paid $109 more for a toaster Sunday

    • It's alright I paid $360 more than you for mine

      • For $469 I'd personally toast your bread every morning and deliver it to you l

  • Local store called me and said they don't have stock and it is -21 across all stores. Well done ozbros hahaha

    • 🤣 gold.

  • -1

    Missed out.
Those people who bought three and live near Mel CBD, happy to buy one from you haha
