Promotion code APPLEMAS is valid for a maximum value of $1,000 per customer.

    • It seemed to have worked for $2000 for me?

      • Did you use the same account and same payment method?

Or 2 accounts and 2 payment methods ?

        • Worked for me as well with 19 cards in cart using Apple Pay in single transaction. Think they’ve messed up applying the 10 limit at the moment.

        • Same account, same payment method, single transaction of 20 x $100 cards for $1800.

    • No limitation over $1000.

  • +2

May I ask how many giftcards can you use at once on Apple online website to buy a phone?

    • +28

Maximum 8 cards per transaction but you can add unlimited gift cards to your Apple Account balance (maximum account balance $4999) and use that to pay.

      • +3

        Thanks!!

      • Could you elaborate on this if that's okay?

You could buy the maximum amount of this promo (ten cards), redeem them into your apple account balance. Then you would have $1,000 worth of value in your account to use anywhere, that cost you $900. You could use that full amount for your next apple store purchase, for example on an ipad or iphone etc.

        • +1

          Yep.

As well as things like TV streaming services etc if you bill via Apple.

        • +1

I was going to get these for an iPhone, but I'm guessing that buying the phone from Apple is going to cost me at least $100 more anyway (although I think the Apple warranty can only be bought from Apple, not from another retailer).

So, it's more for content rather than hardware, is that right?

Also, can I use them at a brick and mortar Apple shop, or online only?

          • +8

@BooYa: You can redeem gift cards at physical Apple Stores, Apple Online Stores (including Apple On Campus Education Stores and Apple Education Stores) and phone sales hotline on 133 622 (133 MAC).

You can redeem Apple Account Associated Balances at Apple Online Stores (including Apple On Campus Education Stores and Apple Education Stores) and phone sales via 133 622 (133 MAC). You currently cannot redeem Apple Account Associated Balances at physical Apple Store at this stage, but this is likely to change in the near future.

Btw, you can always go to a physical Apple Store (or call the Apple phone sales hotline) and ask them whether they can price match another retailer (e.g. JB Hi-Fi). I think the biggest discount they can provide is 10%, but it is really up to the staff member you speak to.

@WookieMonster: Thanks a lot Wookie! I appreciate the detailed reply and helpful tips.

            • @WookieMonster: Can anyone confirm how many gift cards can be used in one transaction in store, the US apple website indicates a limit of 8 there too? I called a store, but they had no idea at all! They also had no idea if they can even consolidate gift cards! It looks like this deal cannot be used in combination of making a price match in store.

              • @forrester: I have consolidated gift cards at Apple store

              • @forrester: 8 physical gift cards. At least that's the case for Apple Store Chadstone. I double checked with a specialist before my purchase in-store.

            • +1

@WookieMonster: You can use up to 8 Apple gift cards at the same time for online purchases at Apple.

          • +1

@BooYa: AppleCare can be purchased even if you buy the device from another seller. We got a phone through Optus 2 months ago and added coverage to it.

Grey stock (Kogan etc) might have some issues, but AU stocks fine.

            • @Smigit: Optus offer a different type of insurance or warranty as well, but I didn't know they sell Apple Care too.

That's good to know, thanks, it will give me more options where to buy the iPhones.

              • +1

@BooYa: Didn’t buy Apple Care via Optus. Once the phone was active we purchased it via the phone itself with Apple directly. You can do it via the device within I think 30 days of activating the phone. Can also take it to the Apple Store if you wanted.

                • @Smigit: Thanks for confirming and clarifying that!

I thought Apple Care can only be bought from Apple directly, and now that you told me that I can get it from an Apple store as well, I have many different options for buying the Apple products I want.

Because, you'd think that you could buy everything from the online store, once the hype has died down, it's not the case.

I had to look at Apple online, Apple stores, and several retailers to get the iPhone and Apple Watch I wanted, in the model, size, and colours I wanted.

                  • +1

                    @BooYa: No worries!

Along with the Optus iPhone 11, I’ve applied Apple Care to two pairs of AirPods in the past (one from eBay and the other from Amazon), so done it a few times.

                    • @Smigit: Nice! Very good to know. Thanks again mate.

    • -2

I wondered that too. Basically 10% off an iPhone doesn't exist anywhere else.

      • +1

It does, not at launch date but you’ve to wait a few months for a good promo to come

      • +1

You can get them for well over 10% off on Telstra Day, but range is limited.

  • The APPLEMAS discount code has already been used

when trying to purchase a 2nd

  • the code is not working

  • -1

sips from cup of earl grey

    Bloody hell - that’s a good deal

  • Works on the $100 card, after trying $500, and $200. Bit of a pain but at least you can buy multiple cards at once

    • +3

Apple promotion (25/07) is ONLY valid on $100 Gift Card.

      • +2

I only just read the title - oops - bit keen to get in before it's sold out :)

  • +1

Is this website legit? (Asking for a friend…). Can someone confirm purchase, and activation of credit to their Apple account?

  • Amazing worked perfectly. Make sure to select $100 gift cards.

  • can you convert the $100 to $500 ones after purchase ( via apple etc ).

You can only load upto 8 gift cards in your apple account as far as i understand

    • +6

If you convert them to Apple Account balance you can have a maximum of $4999 with no limit on how many cards you redeem to get it.

If redeeming the card directly at the Apple Checkout there is a limit of 8. But adding to account balance is a super easy way to avoid this.

      • Thank you for the prompt response kind Sir

    • +2

Maximum 8 cards per transaction but you can add unlimited gift cards to your Apple Account balance (maximum account balance $4999) and use that to pay.

    • +2

You can go to a physical Apple Store and consolidate multiple Apple gift cards into one.

Btw, you cannot redeem an Apple Account Associated Balance in a physical Apple Store (not yet, anyway).

      • Just double checking that you can consolidate your Apple eGCs (digital) via retail stores?

        • I called one retail store just now and they could not confirm at all if it was possible/impossible after a long delay - I was referred to the online support team who also had no idea

        • I don’t think it makes a difference whether you have physical or digital Apple gift cards if you go to a physical Apple Retail Store. They both use 16 digit alphanumeric codes, and Apple would need the codes to consolidate funds.

Someone else said they have consolidated Apple gift cards in the past too.

    • +1

You can use up to 8 cards when using them on checkout to pay, but if instead you use them to add balance to your Apple account, then you can redeem as many as you like and the use the balance to pay for the products on checkout.

  • Thanks op. got 10 * $100

  • -1

Woolworths apple gift card with 20x points work out 10% off , but you have to pay full in advance.

    • Huh? $1000 Apple gift card here will cost $900. In Woolworths, $900 Apple gift card + $90 Woolworths dollars will also cost $900. $1000 value vs $990 value aren’t the same.

      • I just wondering the same thing.
Woolworths are running a promo of 20x points atm. But I'm still confused

      • The comparison they’re making is spending $1000 at woolies upfront (not $900) then minus the $100 extra you get back in Woolworths dollars, which makes the price effectively the same ($900 net either way), if you were going to shop at Woolworths anyway. As they noted, at Woolies you have to spend $1000 upfront and then get more or less a rebate after the fact compared to this deal.

Depends if you’re looking at total value or just net on the card itself. The Woolies $900 outlay with $90 store credit might be perceived by some as spending $810 (as opposed to a total $990 value).

Anyway the deals are comparable, assuming you’d have spent the credit at Woolies anyway and in turn the credit being as good as cash to the recipient.

It’s marginal and depends on peoples cards, but the Woolies one also would benefit me more in terms of credit card points, if we really wanted to go into it.

        • If you pay $1000 in woolworths you get $100 woolworths dollars. Pay $1000 get $1100 value (10% bonus)
If you pay $990 (1100 x 90%) here, you get $1100 value. Pay $990 get $1100 value (10% off) (or you will get $1111 value from spending $1000 during 10% off)
If you count 4% off woolworths gift card, $100 woolworths dollar only worth $96.
Woolworths 10% bonus is good, but 10% off is always better. They aren't the same

  • You will be very bad luck, didn’t happened to me

  • -6

    2 x $500 didn’t work with code. I did $100 x 10 and it went through perfect.
    Thanks OP!!!

  • Anyone tried purchasing a 2nd lot of 10 through a different email?

EDIT: Seems to work without issue… even using same payment methods etc

    • So just register a new account for another batch?

Edit: doesn’t seem to be a limit of 10 for me. 19 cards went through. That was a lot of emails.

  • +1

Awesome deal! It allowed me to checkout with more than 10x $100 gift cards and applied the 10% off the total. Limit isn't being applied it seems.

Can i buy iphone with these gift cards?

    • +2

You can buy anything / everything apple offer now

  • how do u change the quantity?

    • After adding the first card to your cart, you should be able to press the + in the cart to increase the quantity

      • but have to add one by one?

        • You just need to add one to the cart first, then you can change the quantity inside your cart by pressing the +

  • Ordered 10 x $100 but only 7 arrived. I have to send an email to them for the other 3 missing gift cards. Hopeful they can solve the problem.

For anyone unaware, Card.Gift sometimes cancels orders, even after taking payment. This can be due to:

    • Using cards with no 3D Secure support as a payment method (e.g. prepaid Visa/Mastercard gift cards).

    • A new account looking to purchase a large amount on gift cards (e.g. ~$1,000) in the first transaction.

A few people got burnt in the previous Apple gift card deal through Card.Gift, most likely because of the second point.

    YMMV.

    • My CBA debit CC did not ask for 3D secure code and still havent received GC yet (ordered about an hour ago). Prob going to get cancelled..

      • Did you receive your gift cards?

        • Nope. cancelled

            • @WookieMonster: It was bit weird. First transaction was declined by CBA and got notification on app asking if this transaction was made by me etc. So I said yes then the app said try again. Second transaction also did not ask for 3D secure code then order cancelled by card.gift

    • @WookieMonster wrote

A new account looking to purchase a large amount on gift cards (e.g. ~$1,000) in the first transaction.

Has anyone tried messaging The Card Network both before (preferred) or failing that after cancellation? Automated fraud systems can be manually overridden. Also might be an idea to brainstorm what one could say to reassure them.

  • just bought $100. Worked perfectly. thanks OP

  • +4

Thanks, just ordered 20 in one go. Received all instantly.

    • Interesting. I've ordered 10 and it's been 30 Mins already with nothing.

    • 2 different orders of 10x with same payment method?

My first order went through instantly, second it’s been 30 minutes and nothing yet… used same payment method on both.

      • +1

        Single transaction of 20 x $100 cards.

        • Damn, I did 2x transactions of 10

      • same

        • Questions is, do I now place another 10 under my wife’s name/ account and and hope to get the 2nd order I placed refunded

          • @GReeeeN: can't answer that for you. but this happened to me last time too. first transaction went through, second didnt and ended up getting refund.
