    • Would also like to know.

    • +1

My friend have used this for EB games in store to buy series X through apple wallet. Not sure about online.

      • Is it a Teens eGift card or a Students eGift card?

        • My bad. It was students gift card.

          • @Jadeja: Thanks

            • @DanielYuuuu: Anyone game enough to try, Might try a $5 card later and see if that works

              • +1

@Dazbug: Just placed an order for the Xbox series x online using students gift card.

                • @DanielYuuuu: So would of cost around $674? Did you just get a gift card to the value of $749 (which would cost $674) with the 10% off?

  • Can you use the Ultimate Students eGift to make an online purchase on EB Games website? Or to make an online purchase on the Microsoft store for an Xbox Series X?

  • Perfect timing as I need to get a chest freezer from jb/gg. First time purchasing gift cards before and was seamless and instant delivery.

  • How long the order go through and I can see only credit card is accepted.

  • Would I be able to use this in conjunction with the 10% off Nike app promotion?

  • How could I use this at apple? They seem to be the only one who are selling AirTags

    • Buy the eGift card from Giftz, convert it to JB gift card via JB online or in store to buy the Apple gift card

  • Will the payment portal accept prepaid coles mastercards? I thought the woolies gift card portal wouldn't. Is it the same needing verification? Thanks.

    • The answer is, Yes, you can use Coles prepaid mastercard in the payment portal.

  • bought $100 worth and they declined my order

    • why is it only me having issues buying it :(

    • Same, ING won't let me buy off this site! Can't call them because it's after 8pm. Spewing.

  • Can anyone confirm if Deliveroo is part of the Eats card? I can see the logo but not in the table above.

    • +1

      Yes it is

      • Doesn't seem to work on Deliveroo. Says unaccepted payment when I try use this as payment. Have you found a way to get around this?

    • +1

The reasons it is missing from the table (along with Menulog) are:

      • Blackhawk Network removed it from their list of participating retailers a few weeks ago on their website. Blackhawk Network promotes their Ultimate gift card website as the source of truth, and I stick to that. Giftz.com.au is merely a reseller of the gift cards.

      • Over the last few months, Deliveroo and Menulog only sometimes accepted Ultimate gift cards as payment methods. It was really random.

Ultimate Eats gift cards probably still work on Deliveroo, but there are no guarantees it will work 100% of the time.

      • +1

Thanks for the info Wookie - bought a few so will test it and report back.

      • +1

Does not work.. Well that sucks.

  • Can I buy JB hifi gift card and use it with 10% off on the website?

    • I'd also like to know, looking at pixel 6a

      • I bought gift card from this site and then on JB hifi site bought the JB hifi gift card using the Giftz card and it worked

  • Can the Xbox gift card purchased from JB HI Fi be used to buy a console in future?

Can I buy multiple Ultimatehome and use on jbhifi online?

  • Anyone having an issue with the myprepaidcentre site when clicking on the link to redeem? I get connection was reset error.

Edit: Avast was saying it picked up a phishing site, had to disable it for a bit.

    • Yes same issue, makes me v anxious

  • +1

Tried redeeming on JB website, JB errored the CCV but still took the money out of the Gift Card balance… so down on the balance and no order created on JB end… fantastic

    • No issues on my side redeeming on JB

    • Same issue here. Did you get the money back to the card?

    • Did you select giftcard or credit card as payment?

    • I had the same error, the money will be available on your eGift card within a few hours again. It turns out their FAQs are wrong, the expiry date needs to be the date listed on the card, not 12/29, that fixed the issue for me.

  • My order keeps getting cancelled, how do i buy it lol

  • Simple question, can I use this to buy a $1050 item at JB? If this is processed as a visa card and there is only one visa card per transaction, does that mean the only option I would have is to buy a $50 jb hifi gift card to finish the transaction?

    • Are you looking to purchase instore or online?

      • Online.

        • To answer your original question, yes. $50 will need to be covered by a JB Hi-Fi gift card.

If you want tips on converting an Ultimate gift card into a JB Hi-Fi gift card, have a look at this comment.

@WookieMonster: Thanks, I was able to buy a fridge with $999 on this card and the rest jb hifi gift card (only small amount, but with 5% off).

  • Ive almost paid off a 12k bike @ 99 bikes with gift cards
I have $100 left, this is perfect.
The rest was done with coles mastercard to ultimate cards

Apparantly head office had to fix the glitch in their system that wouldnt allow more than a certain amount of gift cards showing on the account properly

  • No email and can no longer login to the account I made in the morning to buy a gift card. Anyone else have this issue?

  • Unable to use the card via Anaconda which is disappointing

    • Some anaconda's I've been able to use, some not. Weird

      • +1

        my anaconda don't want none

      • That fits in with my theory on how Ultimate gift cards work: the gift card issuer use unique identifiers in an EFTPOS terminal to determine whether you are at a participating retailer.

When you tap or swipe (or key in) an Ultimate gift card in-person, the gift card issuer1 checks the unique identifier in the EFTPOS terminal against a list of permitted unique identifiers. If the unique identifier of the EFTPOS terminal you are using is not on the list, your transaction will be declined.

The obvious issue is that if you are at a participating retailer's location that recently had new EFTPOS terminals installed (whether it was due to a new location being opened, or replacement EFTPOS terminals being installed), Ultimate gift cards will only work if the participating retailer remembered to notify Ultimate gift cards of the new EFTPOS terminals' unique identifiers.

There was some discussion last year that makes me think it is down to the unique identifiers in the EFTPOS terminals.

If you encounter this problem again, you can get the location to call a special merchant support hotline (1800 862 127) so you can get help redeeming the Ultimate gift card.

        1. The gift card issuer in this case is Heritage Bank, as they handle the Visa transactions on behalf of Blackhawk Network.

  • Hi there
Whether anyone knows, where I can get harvey norman discount gift card, where discount is 5% and above?

That made my brain hurt, but thanks OP, just saved another $40 on an air fryer on top of the 15% Good Guys discount, Philips $100 cashback and (hopefully) 4% Cashrewards cashback 👌

  • HELP,does anyone know if i would like to use this kind of egift card in TGG website ,
which card number i should put ? PCN 19 digit or card number 16 digit ? and 3 CVV or 4 PIN number ?

    many thanks , i m in hurry

    • I think you have to convert it first bro

      • Can I convert to TGG GC online?

    • same issue for me as well? got any solution?

    • +1

You have to put it in as a credit/debit card number, not a gift card voucher - use the 16 digit number and the CVV, with your name.

      • +1

Thank you so much dear , i can finally finished my payment

  • +1

I bought for TGG store and TGG online store is not accepting this card. I got gift card with 3 digit pin. but TGG website expecting 4 digit/

    any solution?

    • +2

You have to put it in as a credit/debit card number, not a gift card voucher - use the 16 digit number and the CVV, with your name.

      • So how do you process part-payments? Does this mean that these giftcards are unsuitable for anyone wishing to pay part by gift card with the balance by credit card or Paypal?

        • +1

I'm not sure, I think I read earlier in this thread that part payments weren't accepted - I bought enough on the card to pay for the whole thing… then forgot about p&p which took it over and the card declined. I changed it to c&c instead and it worked. Pain in the @$%.

        • +1

go instore or buy a TGG gift card with the ultimate card

          • @cycloneaussie: Cheers - great suggestion (buying the TGG card via the ultimate card - not the instore purchase since most TGG stores don't hold stock of larger whitegoods anymore).

Wish I'd thought of that before reverting to a cheaper purchase and store pickup from 60km away to circumnavigate the $1,000 limit.

            • @UncleRico:

buying the TGG card via the ultimate card

Can you show me how to do it? Thanks!

    • Same.

Just bought a $1,000 card, but it is reporting, "Sorry, we are unable to process your gift card at the moment. Please try again later or visit your nearest store to complete your transaction." when trying to enter it into the giftcard section alongside the 3 digit pin.

      • +2

Are you inputting the Ultimate Home eGift Card in the credit/debit card section or gift card section of the checkout?

Ultimate Home eGift Cards operate on the Visa network, so you need to enter its details in the credit/debit card section.

        • what will be the card holder name? and can i do part payments?

          • +1

@CrypticM: It's your name, and it doesn't look like part payments are possible.

          • +1

@CrypticM: Cardholder name can be anything, because there is no cardholder name registered with Heritage Bank (the gift card issuer, who works alongside Blackhawk Network on Ultimate (Visa) gift cards).

You cannot do split payments on TGG online. You will need to convert at least some Ultimate eGift Cards into TGG gift cards first. The only way you can do that with TGG is to go to a physical TGG store and use an Ultimate eGift Card as pay for a TGG gift card. You can only redeem 2x TGG gift cards online in conjunction with 1x Ultimate Home eGift Card, so plan accordingly.

Btw, TGG Commercial does not accept TGG gift cards, so you can only use 1x Ultimate Home eGift Card on that platform.

Also, if you go in-store to TGG, you can use as many Ultimate Home eGift Cards as you want as payment methods.

            • +1

@WookieMonster: Damn. That sucks. I am down by $5 in the card.

              • -1

                @CrypticM: Sure does.

If it's using the Visa network, why is there any limit about a finite group of stores where it can be used? With no way to purchase anything using multiple cards or that costs more than $1,000, I'm stuck with a card I can't use.

First and last time I'll be using eGift…

        • +1

i should drop a question here before i making thousand of call between gift card centre and TGG CS.

  • +3

    myprepaidcentre….
I really hate this website, their app never works.

  • Hi, if i want to buy something from HN, any possibility to use this ultimate home gift card?

    • +3

Nope, because HN isn’t listed as one of the participating retailers for Ultimate Home

  • Hi, I've bought a home gift card and trying to convert to GG gift cards. I'm getting Error. "Your card was declined.".

    Are you able to assist?

    Thanks

    • +1

You can’t convert a TGG gift card online as I suspect because they pre-authorise a $1 transaction fee first.

Best to do is either go to TGG and use it in store or buy one of their gift cards using the Ultimate Home e-gift card added to your mobile wallet

      • So went in to TGG today to get it sorted, you can no longer use these cards at the terminals as they have tap only and cards over $200 do not work. They DO NOT accept multiple gift cards anymore to my frustration and we ended up having to get them to send the purchase to my phone and for me to pay online with the card. Just an FYI for future purchases.

    • +2

I don't think you can buy TGG gift cards online through the TGG website using Ultimate Home eGift Cards, because TGG sells TGG gift cards through a third party (True Rewards). The gift card issuer will see you're attempting to make a purchase through True Rewards and will decline the payment request, as True Rewards is not a participating retailer for the Ultimate Home eGift Card.

JB Hi-Fi is different, because JB Hi-Fi sells JB Hi-Fi gift cards themselves on the JB Hi-Fi website, and the processing for purchasing an iPhone or TV or toaster online is the same as purchasing a JB Hi-Fi gift card.

  • -2

Since there is no way to pay any remaining balance of any payments beyond the amount remaining on the giftcard, unless any purchases are equal to the precise amount held on the egift card, how does everyone use any residual balance?

A cynic mght suggest that leftover, inaccessible funds is a part of the business model that helps furnish rebates such as this.

I love a discount as much as the next man, but I won't ever be using eGift again - mainly since it's not a giftcard at all, but a fixed amount pre-paid Visa that is only accessible from a small number of merchants and which cannot be used in conjunction with any other method of payment. I get that it will work for some and that the 10% discount will be a great saving if you know precisely how much you need to apply to the egift card after adding headroom for any preauthorisation amount or merchant fee required, but for my use case it didn't fit the purpose of a "giftcard".

  • +1

Awesome. Just got a 2.5kw Fujitsu that was listed at GG for $1099, 15% off store sale = $934.15. Bought GC @ cost $841.50. Cashback from Fujitsu to be redeemed @ $150. Advertised price was $1099 after cashback cost for unit will be $692 saving $407, happy days!

    • How'd you go using it online?
I am going to buy 2 Hisense units

Which gift card did you buy and how did you apply it online? Thanks

      • +1

Home GC and went into credit card as payment, no issue at all.

        • Thanks mate

        • what did you put in the name field in credit card section. Its not letting me go thru on the payment page.

  • Stacks with current JB 10%?
