"Certified to look stunning on your countertop". What is the organisation that certifies this?

"Professional?" Damn it; I'm an amateur.

My water boiling skills are only intermediate, this might be too much of a step up for me

Hahahahaha! Well, I was laughing until I looked up the actual certification. It’s ISO I3(_)115#17. You could have knocked me down with a feather…

I thought Singer was an old school brand from the last century making sewing machines. They're trying to stay relevant and meaningful in 2022

    "Glass Kettle"

With a metal, plastic coated bottom.

  • Mine always goes brown at bottom. How I fix dis

    • +3

Use filtered water. Also don't constantly re-boil the same water.

    • +4

Fill it with water and Sqeeze a lemon in there then boil it. Come out brand new

Do you mean squeeze in a whole lemon or squeeze in some fresh lemon juice?

        • +1

Cut the lemon in wedges, squeeze it too and boil it and leave it for a bit. Should come out brand new. May still need to use a non scratching scotch pad or brush.

      • I just throw half a lemon in there and boil a few times

        None of this squeezy business

    • Mix vinegar with water.. boil or let the mixture stay for a bit.. look up Google for descaling options

  • i can guarantee the lid wont be able to close after 6months of use. and i am too lazy to claim warranty
