I've got the Oppo Find X3 Neo. It is brilliant. I've been buying Samsung for years. Never, ever again

    • Not sure why you got negged. My oppo reno 5g is still going strong after two and a bit years.

      • I've had the Neo of about 3 months. It is super quick. No lagging like my Samsung. Takes excellent photos. It's 12GB RAM

        • +1

Same here, brilliant phone in all aspect. At this price you can't go wrong.

lol damn man why ebay is cheaper with ebay fee? should just make this 695 shipped for direct…surely still better than going through ebay

  • Wife's got this, takes v good photos and had no probs with it

  • Op when you will have iPhone 13 pro refurb in stock. I would love to buy it again from you after my 11 pro max purchase 18 months ago.

      Hello Jadeja,
Thanks for your question. We are currently searching for more iPhone 13 Pro refurb stock but unfortunately I can't give you an exact date of when we will have it on our website

  • I wish this had DC Dimming

    • These don't PWM flicker after 30% Brightness you can check notebook check for a detailed review. When I used this I had a lower brightness dimming app to dim the screen when the area was dark

      • These don't PWM flicker at low frequencies after 30% Brightness you can check notebook check for a detailed review. When I used this I had a lower brightness dimming app to dim the screen when the area was dark, so I never had to deal with with pwm issues at the lower bright of say below 30%. Some people are still sensitive to all pwm frequencies so keep in mind this one flickers around the same of 360hz as a pixel 6 range. I had no issues vs say a Samsung phone at the 250hz but again depends on you.

        • +1

Thanks - notbookcheck seems to say there is no PWM above 16%

Anyhow I am also put off by Telstra firmware, as I have had a previous Telstra firmware phone (LG G5) which was woefully unsupported, inflexible and insecure due to locked bootloader and missing or significantly late updates.

  • isnt oppo find x2 pro similar spec with much lower price and 512gb?

    • Personally, I don't think there's that much difference between a single year's worth of phones.

The key differences are a year's worth of updates, extra/less storage, microscope camera, wireless (and reverse) charging, 2x tele(x3 pro) vs 5x tele (x2 pro)

Android isn't that bad as the devices are normally good spec wise. Iphones keep their value longer and it sort of fragments their market with the non-pro models - lack of telephoto, some not as good displays.

    • @silverwalker Not very similar specs. X3 pro has 1 more camera, microscope lens, better processor, reverse charging, wireless charging, brighter screen, bigger battery, newer Bluetooth version, eSIM, aptxhd codec support.

  • Hi op is this a retail unit or telco version? Because if it is retail, it would have dual physical sim slot. Thanks.

    • +1

      Hello cloudie9,
      Telco version.

      • +1

Not really much worth it because telco version pushing all updates on layer days specially when it comes to android updates

  • +1

Is this the 8 or 12GB version? Op didn't provide the specs here nor on the product page.

    • +2

      Hello Trishool,
      This is the 12GB version

  • +5

If it's the Telstra version avoid if you can, updates are incredibly slow almost a year behind and still on android 11 not good enough support. But the retail version if you can much better experience overall.

    • Can you flash it retail version?

      • Unfortunately not that I'm aware of. There used to be one fix for the find x2 pro but this doesn't work on this model.

    • Thats not totally true yes its slow updates but almost year after I received update for android 12

      • I had my find x3 pro last month and got rid of it so it may have come out recently but still you should be on colour oS 12.1 by now and should have been getting updates monthly as intended by Oppo nearly a year later is just not good enough by Telstra. It's why I got rid of mine and bought a retail model. Telstra have done the same thing in the past on other model of Oppo phones also. Some people can wait so it's not a big deal.

  • Hi Op, if you see more oppo deals please let us know

    • Hello Yaren24,
      We certainly will

      • Thank you

  • Hi Op, what is the colour OS it has? Is it colour OS 12?

    • Hello Rasme,
      Upgradable to Android 12 - ColorOS 12

      • Thanks OP….

  • Can you confirm please:

    • supports wireless charging?
    • how many more android and security updates?

    Thanks

  • @GreenGadgetsAus

    Can you please update:
    1. What firmware is on these handsets?
    2. What carrier are they branded to - Optus, Telstra or ?

    Thanks

    • +2

I just got one this arvo after ordering yesterday morning.

ColorOS 11.2 which is dated late 2021 (can't recall which month). It's Telstra, not branded but had the Telstra app which I had to download to remove the "ghost" icon on the homescreen.

        Thanks for the info.

        • +1

Just adding also, no dual sim.

  • +3

ordered on tuesday night on ebay using the PLAU15 code, im not an ebay plus member. ended up paying $764 for it. the phone arrived yesterday, on thursday. very timely. the phone comes with a generic phone case and screen protector. that helped as my separately ordered phone casing and screen protectors gonna take a few more weeks to arrive. the seller also included a gift card, tho quite useless on my end but i guess its the thought that counts lol.

  • Are these carrier locked?

  • Is this carrier locked and also is it dual sim

    • It is not dual sim, refer above.
