  • You should mention its for new members only

    • make a new email and adjust your name slightly :)

      • During signup for previous deals there has been a need to declare that nobody in the household has taken advantage of an introductory deal before.

    3 weeks?

The last unlimited Quickflix deal I saw was for 6 weeks…

yeah it seems like these deals are getting worse and worse. It use to be 8 weeks then 6 weeks. If it's like all the other deals you will probably need to provide credit card details BUT if u cancel before the trial ends you won't get charged (this is how all there other deals work anyway).

They are not quick at all. You will be lucky to get four DVDs in 3 weeks.

They will bill you without any warning once you pass the trial.

To cancel you must call their phone number before 6pm weekdays.

    • You are a little out of date with your information.
They have an online cancellation facility now and it works.

My experience on turn around is 2 days.

      • @roughana

Why the neg mate? My experience wasn't as positive as I would have liked and I want other OzBargain users to know that so they don't get disappointed. I have no agenda against QuickFlix and think the model is great but sadly the execution is somewhat lacking. If I didn't want to help others I would have said nothing. You are just trolling…

The truth is that I subscribed to the service properly for 12 months and only unsubscribed two weeks ago, so you can't say my experience was not representative. When I chose to unsubscribe I clicked on the link to unsubscribe online (yes, I know there is one!) but was directed to ring their support number. You probably don't know because you haven't clicked on it. Talking about up to date information, it seems the link you provided is someone else's experience reported in November last year; i.e. 7 months ago minimum!

As far as the number of DVDs, I almost exclusively got DVDs in pairs and returned them in the mail the next day. I routinely wouldn't get the next ones for a week, and that was consistent from the very start for the whole 12 month period. I have no problems receiving mail in one day from Sydney for other items.

        Please spare us your cynicism.

You have clarified that you tried to use the online cancellation but were directed to call.
This is probably a chance for them to try to keep the customer they had for 12 months.
My experience on canceling from the trial period is that they made no such attempt.
It appears that I cannot revoke the neg.
