In the first game that I watched I genuinely thought something was wrong with my speakers. from memory they began filtering the noise out after the first round of matches.

I won't neg but this is more of a PSA rather than a deal. It's a free to air broadcast. I do note that it should be a huge improvement on the major floptus debacle of 2018.

Yep I'm watching the linear channel. On demand content on the big screen are astoundingly poor, I could not watch that.

Trying to watch the game now and the ads are atrocious
Not sure why someone negged you. The ads are a joke.
No ads during the gameplay makes sense - they don't have timeouts or stoppages. But the sheer frequency of ads during the pre-game and mid-game is outrageous.
It's 30secs of analysis from the commentary team, then a jarring break to 3mins of ads.They even put a three minute ad break in between the anthems and the team huddles prior to kickoff
