We all know the iphone 14 is around the corner within a week or so.
But still if anyone wants to pull the trigger, I guess it still good deal with 3% GC atleast from various platforms and 2% SB/Cashrewards cashback.
If can manage another 5% discount, then price would be around ~$1598.

silver color same price now.

      iPhone 14 Pro announcement.

iPhone 14 will / should be cheaper than this (won't have high refresh screen, 1 less camera lens). A good chance iPhone 13 Pro will be better than iPhone 14 (iPhone 14 not expected to get A16).

  • A good deal? Are you kidding?

    • Slow deal day and we all need a laugh.

  • +1

Just wait for iPhone 14 to drop and this phone should become a bit cheaper

  • +3

    nice try

  • -5

Wow, the same phone as the past 2 generations. For the price of a used car

    • +13

Not sure you've been following the market, but $1700 doesn't buy much these days…

      • Speak for yourself, I disagree with your comment.

I recently bought a brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for $439 aud. Yes brand new.

        • You were talking about used cars. $1700 doesn't get you F.A. in the current used vehicle market.

    • +4

And how far will you get with that $1700 car before it's useless or triple to cost to repair?

      • -7

Most dealers will give at least three months warranty.

        • +6

Lol no dealer is selling a car for 1700

      • +2

$1800 Datsun lasted me 6 years with all diy repairs

        • Almost as long as an iPhone

        • +3

6 years ago $1600 drove you a lot further than today

  • Gee whiz!

    [+] Apple fanboys only. :D

Just anyone that wants a good phone really.

Just paid $400 for Samsung A53 the other day.

I'm now regretting my purchase and wishing I'd gone for this iphone pro, for only $1,700……

    • -7

you should trade your A53 and buy this iphone for only $1700.
Don't think much. you wont regret it.
Dont wait and become an apple user right away.
And dont be stupid like other users here who put a case on it.
No one can see the apple logo on the back so no one can tell if they are using iphone or not.
Make sure you buy apple care too.
When phone breaks, Only need to pay access to get it replaced. And keep doing it multiple times.

        Bitter android user much? Sheesh….

      • -1

So much bitterness, yet take the time to view a brand they hate and leave a very long comment.

I suppose might as well since it must’ve taken a while to load this page on your android.

        Get help, mate!

The vast majority of iPhone users don't think about you at all.

    • +5

Yours is a Samsung and only a midrange one at that. So hardly in the same league to be compared with an Iphone 13 Pro. This is equivalent to an S22 Ultra whilst being arguably a much better brand.

  • +6

Waiting for iPhone 14 to go on sale so iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 users will sell theirs for the new model and so I can replace my iPhone XS with an iPhone 12 for on the cheap

    • I want the 13 Pro for the macro camera. Happy to wait to see how much further down they will come once the clearance starts.

  • +5

At this stage just wait for 14 announcement. Price will come down further. This is still ~100 more than telstra day deal anyway…

  • Id rather buy a used iphone 12 pro max for $800-900 aud. I buy and sell phones often and if you look hard enough they're easy to get. Not sure about other's but i couldn't justify that amount of money and it's not even the top model.

    • Didn't neg you. However, 13 Pro has dynamic refresh screen up to 120Hz. Some new camera lenses, better battery life, and better batch of A15. iPhone 14 (non-Pro model) most likely won't beat 13 Pro. There is also the new SE, which Apple has elected to put in A15.

Used iPhone 12 Pro Max, it's hard to tell if the battery has been replaced (unless you bring a laptop with you and run the appropriate app). The warranty and after sale service is better. Obviously, the price isn't good enough to be considered a bargain (more expensive than Telstra Day deal).

  • Has anyone already tried price match at Officeworks?

    • yes - can be done. $1597.90

  • -5

is it a joke?$1682 a Bargain cannot believe this

    • +2

It’s $200 off retail. You may believe the retail price to be expensive but it’s a discount and that’s what the site is for.

If someone wants to buy an iPhone 13 pro then why would you neg the deal ? What’s that person to do ? Pay $1869 instead ?

Now you’ll likely say they just shouldn’t buy this phone. Well I don’t know about others but I don’t come here to be told what to buy. I come here for discounts.

  • iPhone really hold it price very well.

I just check iPhone 14 Pro (256) is like 1,899 and this old iPhone 13 Pro (256) is still 1,682 which is like 217 difference only.

    Comparing iPhone 14 (256) 1,579 with iPhone 13 Pro (256) of 1,682 is like 103 difference.

I'm not sure what to get, iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro to replace my iPhone XR.

    • I have XR and decided to go with 14 pro 256gb.

      • Do you think there will be discount on Black Fri or Cyber Mon?

        • Surely do. I’d expect min 10% off from ebay.

  • Deal ended. price back to $1819

    • Back in stock now at same price
