  No need to pay extra for cellular. You can just use your phone's hotspot for wifi when you're not at home or in a free wifi zone.
  The non-cellular version is $1099, and it's only another $60 for the 256B version ($1159). I'd get that.

    But the WiFi-only version does not have GPS. If you have an application that needs GPS, you need to either get the cellular version or use an external bluetooth GPS receiver.

  If you have iphone its even better as it just does it all automatically even if the hotspot is not on at the time.

    If you're on the latest Android and use a device at certain locations you can set Bixby Routines to automatically turn on/off the phones hotspot. Not as user friendly as iOS but a good alternative.
