    Banks give 3% interest rates now. 3% discount is nothing. Cashreward needs to up the discount rate for this to be better.

    Would not normally bother with a 3% bonus but I used it as a quick flip on the Special AMEX gift card offer.

    Combining 10% from AMEX with 2% reqular Shopback and 3% bonus Shopback for a total of 15% is OK.

    Better than nothing essentially.

    Some math:
    CR with the $3 bonus and 3000 activations will sell ~$90000 of GCs and hand out $9000 in bonuses.
    SB only need to have 900 people complete this challenge to sell ~$90000 of GCs and will only need to hand out $2700 in bonuses.

      CR: Not all 3k activations will lead to purchases.

      SB: 1300+ completed

      However, I agree that CR offers better deals overall in the recent months (maybe due to ditching ANZ MAX soon?). Check the cashback rate for a random store, most of time CR>SB.
