  Maybe I missed it but did it say what batteries this needs? You'd need 8 x 1.5v batteries to meet the 12V requirement which would be a lot to carry, so I'd be guessing a cable to a battery pack that you put in your pocket, maybe?
  
  Edit: would help if I opened my eyes. Has two stubby batteries in the picture that make up the 12V.

  Sorry, it's hard to say. We have tried to wear for several mins, some of us feel ok, myself (near-sighted) felt a bit dazzling.
  Try to adjust the light sensisity to make it blinking slow, it might help.
