    are these the loud ones?

    • Just looked it up, yeah it is the loud ones.
I want this but quieter haha

    • Yeah ‘clicky purple switch’

  • +4

This is an excellent price, if you can withstand the noise.

  • I had too many keyboards, buying another one is just waste of money

    • haha I'm on my thrid one, cannot stop now

      • +1

My unbuilt keyboard collection is starting to look like my playstation backlog lol

Couldn't resist, clicky but I'll take it over my dying Kogan one haha

    • +2

Replace my Kogan one as well

    • +1

Add me to that category as well. Old kogan warhorse taken out the back and shot!

  • thanks got one, currently have the huntsman mini redswitch and love it.

    • Turned up today (next day delivery to brisbane).
Weird, it's a different keyboard in the box.
It's a Razer Huntsman V2 Analog instead of the purple clicky… these are black switches which are a upgrade I think?

      • V2 Analog came with full RGB around the keyboards (wrist rest) . you got the different version. Black is just different switches depends what you like

        • yep got the full RGB Magnetic wrist rest also.

Everything on the box says huntsman V2 purple clicky optical but this keyboard inside is brand new and definitely the huntsman V2 Analog optical switch. Volume wheel is different too.

          I'm okay with this.

  • Is this a mechanical keyboard?

    • Yes, it uses optical switches which are mechanical.

Still rocking my Logitech G710+ with new keycaps and half broken LED's :)

    • Same here, what a great keyboard!
I'm lucky its only the U key that has a dimmed led.

What keycaps did you buy to replace the stock?

      • Aliexpress - I got them for free (refund) as they mistakenly sent a set with Cyrillic font on them..

        • I've been having a look at keycaps and want to replace mine but I'm concerned I'll get the wrong size. Does the G710+ use some standard size keycap set?

  • Is it clickier than cherry blue

    • Probably not, most likely same volume/feel.

  • Thx. Ordered something I didn't need!

  • +3

    Didn’t need one..

    Bought one

    Thanks OP

  • Awesome! Thanks, OP Picked one up.
I love a good clicky keyboard. Time to replace my old Mantistek.

  • Cheaper than a base model Blackwidow!

    Bargain!

    But don't need it.

  • No C&C available in my area :(

  • OOS!!!

  • when out of stock while checking out : (

  • JB Hifi have just taken it down - a mistake perhaps?

  • Just sold out by the looks of it.
Didn't need it, but wanted one. Oh well.

  • Very loud but very cool

Damn sold out. Wanted this loud keyboard to annoy my workmates for making me come to office when I can work from home.

was looking to replace my aging G910. Got the last one at my local store even though it said out of stock. You can try to look at your local store. they may still have the stock if you want to try your luck.

  • Good luck to those that got it, but I really hate optical switches.

    • Why so?

      • I can't speak for anyone else, but although I really like the Huntsman v1 it can have real trouble with direct sunlight at certain angles. Not sure whether they've improved that on the v2.

      • Just found them way too sensitive. Takes some getting use to.

I went from a black widow with green switches to this, and this is a cracking price I paid 180ish for my huntsman v2, the analogue switches feature for me are a bit of a wank, I am not that delicate on the keys for this to be of use to me.

I dont find the keys delicate but you can alter the actuation point of the keys within Synapse.

For the price of this its surely worth it though it is noisy, i use it for working from home and gaming and I am pretty happy with it, thought would be more happy if i paid half of what i actually paid, got to love ozbargain!!

      • +1

I never knew that you could alter it.

TBH, gonna try this now. Thanks!

        • +1

If its too noisy apparently you can fit o rings to the underside of the keys, I havent tried this but I have heard people who have and it makes it a little quieter.

      • Didn't know you could program the actuation point. (Prolly cause I'm on a mac and Synapse 2 has yet to make an appearance.)

Still a great kb for my daily use .. but now feeling even more cheated (from loss of functionality). Lol.
