After reading all the remorseful comments. I went to JBHiFi to have a listen. I always liked how Bose sounded.
I have had Samsung atmos system Q950T, but didn't like the sound. Especially music. Sold it after a few months.
Now I can't wait to get this Bose system delivered.

@AussieMark: Samsung is an atmos sound bar for starters.
The bose soundbar is like 5-6 years old and is dated, where the samsung is updated annually and continue to improve qualuty of their bars.
That can be seen as a negative if you think its outdated every year. But innovation also happens every year.

Unfortunately wasn't mine that popped back up.
Just had to go through a roundabout way to cancel. I tried cancelling the order and kept getting an internal error message.
Hopped on live chat and they told me the soundbar was in the advanced stage of shipping so they couldn't cancel it, but they could cancel the subwoofer which had no delivery estimate yet.
They told me to reject the delivery if I didn't want it, but then I noticed the page to cancel the order suddenly looked different (both items appeared in one line rather than two lines) and I tried clicking cancel again and it went through.
So it looks like it's just cancelled now. Weird!
Why buyers remorse?
I have the Bose Soundtouch 300 + Acoustimass currently and thought I would get this for the second room. This was an impulse decision just based on the price.
Upon having a further think, I've decided I'll move the current Bose system to the second room and look for an Atmos system for the main room.

Why are so many people having buyers remorce? I've been kind of looking for a soundbar but didn't want to commit to anything that wasn't really a deal. This was more than double my expected budget but seemed too good to pass up. Is this soundbar/sub not worth this money even if this is a good deal or something?

Because half the people on here have the mindset that spending money on quality is a bad thing. They are the kind of people that leave comments on half price high end hand wash for $7/liter that's it's a waste of money. Because they buy the Coles stuff for $3. It's like Jesus people let yourself have some nice things.
I reckon at this price you could resell on marketplace for up to five years at pretty close to what you paid. Having buyers remorse is just being stupid.
I'm sure you'd be happy with that or the C2. Not having Dolby vision is a bit of bummer. Obviously the Bose would blow that sound bar out of the water.
People don't like Bose because it's overpriced at the regular price. Plus they use cheap drivers and EQ them to have good frequency response. This makes them sound clear but the timing of the frequency to your ear is off so you lose the natural detail and soundstage.
For me personally the absolute best deal for stereo is a used stereo setup with very high end speakers and amps. It costs a lot of money at the beginning like 5k-10k. But they barely depreciate at all over time. In fact they have actually appreciated. My previous setup in the US i paid 10k and sold for 13k five years later.

The q800 is a class above this soynd bar and q700 is alrwady better than the bose combo. Unsure why people are choosing the bose. Would like to hear why they chose this over the bose

The samsung is just so big and unwieldy, and I'm not sold on the samsung yearly refreshes, especially considering the samsung can be had for sub $800 so often, it makes me think it's built much more cheaply.

I have the q900a and it doesnt come close to the sound quality of my 900a but it certainly looks better than my fabricy mess.

@teacherer: Just listen to the 700. The 700 is close to the q800b minus the 2 upward foring speakers if you like samsung more than bose 700 you would like it more than 500. If you thought the 700 was amazing in comparison to q800b then you may have enjoyed the 500. 700 is a more refined and clearer audio variant with better sound stage than 500
