      No. You can only add a GC when you place an order. They will keep showing as separate gift cards until the entire balance has been used.

      If you mean, do I have to spend all $500 in one transaction, no you don't. The balance of the card is linked into your eBay account for use at the next purchase.

    OP is wrong. You currently cannot exchange any TCN gift cards for digital JB Hi-Fi gift cards. You can currently only redeem TCN gift cards instore at JB Hi-Fi.

        I suggest you go and have a look at the TCN website and tell me how I can exchange a TCN gift card for a JB Hi-Fi gift card now.

        When I add a TCN gift card number to the GIFT card page, the dropdown list only shows instore for JB Hi-Fi. There is no Online button next to the dropdown list.

        When you visit other TCN gift card webpages, JB Hi-Fi is only listed as Instore, not Instore & Online.

            @GaryG: The one thing you need keep in mind with the TCN gift card scheme is that the participating retailers and/or redemption options can change at any time.1 There is nothing in the T&Cs about giving advanced warning before removing a retailer, which is the reason that you were never alerted before it happened. Think about it… in theory, JB Hi-Fi could disappear from the TCN gift card scheme altogether one day and you would not be warned about it before it happened.

            Btw, I don’t think the recent change from Instore & Online to Instore is a typo on TCN’s part, because:

            1. That is in clause 15 of the T&Cs. ↩

                @myisk: Probably not.

                Up until about a month ago, Everyday Rewards boosters credited bonus points either upfront at the checkout or a period of time after leaving the checkout (e.g. a couple of minutes or a couple of hours later).

                However, I noticed about a month ago that the Woolworths weekly boosters (which used to credit points a couple of hours after leaving the store) started crediting points immediately at the checkout.

                Since then, I purchased a couple of gift cards at Woolworths that used to accidentally trigger Everyday Rewards bonus points boosters, but it no longer triggered the boosters on my account.

        I wouldn't doubt Wookie for a second, but I hear you. A matter of weeks ago I exchanged my "Him" gift cards for jbhifi egift cards online through their website. It seems they must of changed it recently.

      I got mine last TCN woolworths deal a couple of weeks ago. Remember only 1 transaction per day, per rewards card will count. Excludes TCN $30. It does say in the catalogue that it can take up to 14 days but I get mine same day.

      eBay gift cards expire three years from the date of issue.

      You are probably thinking of the vouchers eBay hands out as part of promotions to try and entice people to (re-)subscribe to eBay Plus. Those are supposed to expire 30 days from the date of issue, although I have seen anecdotes where the voucher expired before day 30.

      Choose to get $10 off a future shop or convert to 1000 Qantas Points every time you reach 2000 Everyday Rewards points.

            @ivyholmes: I can see eBay as an exchange option now (but it does not mean it will be an option by the time you go and attempt an exchange):

            • Go to the webpage for the TCN GIFT card.

            • Scroll down to the How To Use section.

            • Enter the gift card number into the box and select Continue.

            • Choose eBay from the dropdown list.

            • Click/tap on Proceed, and follow the subsequent steps to have the digital gift card emailed to you.

                  @WookieMonster: I have 9 that are apparently TEEN cards dressed up as GIFT cards. Tried to contact TCN support yesterday, if they don't give me a satisfactory result (i.e. give me the eBay cards) I will be returning them to Woolies. Since this should be a known issue on their part they should either be recalling all the GIFT cards or manually processing the eBay, Supercheap or whatever vouchers no questions asked. If not then everyone should be reporting both TCN and Woolworths to ACCC.

                    @blade1981: There is an easy solution (but I know TCN won't do it for the reason like this), which is "allow Teen card to be swapped to any merchants on the Gift one for a short period". By doing so, save a lot of calls and customer service for individuals.

      good question… four year ago i was able to do it but don't know current rule so hope someone can answer that with recent experience… !

      however once uber knows that you have gift card loaded then you won't get any offers (it happened to me like until i finished all card there was no offers from Uber)…. i bought from coles i think and it was 20% discount that time … like 2000 points for $50 uber gift card.

      also remember some restaurant charges upto 20% to 30% more for food when ordered through uber etas so it is worth getting 10% discount ? … that was the only reason i stopped buying it for uber eats but for uber service it is good discount which you normally don't get.

      On my experiences, if you didn't get it on check out, you will never get it. So next time check the screen before payment. If it doesn't show points at the bottom of screen on last step before payment. Give up and don't pay.
