      Got it from previous deals

      Quiet and works well

      App is a lot more basic though compared to the xiaomi smart fan even though its the same app

      Remote is very handy

      Can't seem to turn the beep function off

      This one is also wired, no battery built in

            @lastkey: I don't mind. It'll be beside my bed and I'm the only one that needs it. My partner can sleep inside a volcano and she'd still complain it's cold.

          Apparently you can turn it off it the app.

          I have gone so far as to open appliances and rip out the little tweeters.

            @dullbeard: In the Mi Home app go to settings for the fan and turn off "alarm".

        Turn beep function off by going to the fan in the app. Click the three dots in top right. Toggle 'alarm' to off. I think alarm mean the beep.

      A fan that works via Alexa/Google has more value I think. The ability to turn it on/off or increase speed is great when you're lazing in bed.

      Think anything with a display basically kills battery life. I remember my first Mi fit 1 band could last for a month+, then I got the mi fit 3/4 and had to charge it every 5-7 days.

      That's longer than most. The previous Apple watch was about 18hrs.
      This has GPS, On-board music, 50m water resistance. The accuracy was not very good.

    The stratos 3 came out in 2020, and reviews of Amazon have people complaining of under 3 days use on a charge. I'm guessing the stratos 2 batteries will be very old and not holding a charge very well anymore.

    I have 2 x Xiaomi Smart Mi 2S fans which are working perfectly for the past couple of years.

    How do these Viomi Fans compare to the Mi 2s fans (if anybody has both or can compare)?

    I thought I saw a 2 pack for sale somewhere here on OB but cant remember if they were Viomi or Xiaomi.

        Thanks for that superforever 👍 Had to be quick to get one (or 2) so missed that.

        More blades on the Viomi Fan than the Prev 2S which has less (7 fins) on the fan blade.

        Yet the 2s Xiaomi ones also have a battery which can be very handy. Guess more deals will eventually come back :)
