  • Only certain sellers/products? Fastest way to get discounted ebay gift cards?

    • From Woolies

      • For the negger who negged me, this was the deal that I was referring to. It’s currently advertised in this wk catalogue

    • ShopBack has then 3% off. It takes a few days before getting the 3% cash back

    • Seems to only cover 370 specific items from "greengadgets".

I tried a number of other refurbished items from other sellers and it doesn't show up.

Also says that the code expires on 10/11/2022

  • +1

Is the PLRE22 only for eBay plus member?

    Edit: NVM, me blind.

  • any chance this lasts long enough for a shopback 20-25%?

    • +1

Highly doubt they’ll have two >20% off deals that stack

    • Last round (early this week or last) won't let you use any ebay code when SB running 20% while ebay plus was 17% instant off the GST inc price.

  • Iphone 13 or 12 Pro - if they are the same price, whats the better buy? Ive heard the battery on the 13 will be a lot better, but camera much worse…

    • +1

      cons on both…

12 pro: 1 gen older in chip, 2 hours less on battery, inferior image stabilisation and HDR mode,

13: 2x less on optical zoom, doesn't have telephoto lens.

Depends on whether you want the better zoom or the better battery and image processing.

      • +1

Depends on whether you want the better zoom or the better battery and image processing.

        also add
        + better CPU/GPU
+ potentially longer updates compared to the 12

    • +2

Go for 13 imo, 12 Pro has a weak battery and 13 will get more iOS update support

  • +5

seems the price increased from "greengadgets"

  • +1

    Who are best Refurbers??

  • A lot of those optiplexes are cheap right now, sub-$100 for the 9020's even with this code

    Second hand earbuds? Ewww

    • +1

Guess you can always change/buy better tips?

      • +3

Yeah, if it was an actual Apple refurb, I'd trist it, but seller refurb?

    • What's wrong with your ears? Mine are clean.

      • Mine where until I discovered text to speech an started reading the comments.

  • Weird this ipad mini is marked as refurbished but not part of the deal.

    • Use the link in the OP and you can search what is on there. It's only on "eligible items".

Damn, someone bought the last Surface Pro 5 for $233 :( That was a steal.

    • +1

You can still get SP4 for $200. But agree SP5 was better. Although not officially supported by W11

      • I'm running win11 on an SP3, it actually fixed overheating issues I had with win10.

  • refurbished airpods……possible earwax residues from previous owner?

  • Managed to snag an "Excellent" condition iphone 14 256gb for $1052. How bad can the condition possible be after only a month?

Check ACT if you want a used computer. Lot of options now.

  • +1

DAmn very limited refurbers and the eligible Greengadgets jacked the prices up by a lot….

    • Seems that this is a sellers-invite-only refurb promo (vs the previous site wide certified refurb promo by eBay/Shopback which the sellers do not contribute), where here the sellers have to pay a chunk of the discount % by jacking their prices up…
Having said that, Apple Watch ultra for $1062 looks quite appealing https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/165732134743

      • Stupid question but does this have apple warranty? Like is it worth tge buy?

  • +1

Bought an "like new" condition iphone 13 pro max 512gb for $1377 after gift card cash back, good deal?

    • +1

Link please if there are any left lol ?

      • All "like new" condition sold out now, they still have the "excellent conditon" for $40 less ($1028.83 for 128gb, $1139 for 256gb, $1379 for 512gb)

      • +1

        https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/325274945854? - 256 gb $1195 (excellent)

        • That's the not the pro max model

          • +1

            @Ramennightmare: ??? Pretty sure it is….althought its the 128gb, not 256!

            • @JuryWheel: I bought a blue iphone 13 pro 128gb from this deal and regret not getting the pro max. Anyone the opposite and want to swap and I'll pay the difference?

FYI anyone buying from mazuma. Phone arrived in as new condition, battery 94% and still within apples 1 year warranty.

              • @camMMM: How do you check the apple warranty bit? Do you need to do anything?

  • Max discount $300

8500t optiplex for about $275, it's not bad

  • Tried many Refurbished iPhone 12 from the Terms and Conditions page, but most of them didn't work
it keeps saying, " This code can't be applied to your order" !! what I'm doing wrong

  • +2

Got an s21 ultra for $717 as new condition. Not bad.

  • +1

Thanks. Got an iPad Air 4th gen with cellular < $600, purportedly in "excellent" condition. It has same SoC as the recently announced base iPad 10. Here's hoping for the best.

    • You bought the Blue one? Can you PM me?

    • Link pls

    • @zbc How's your "excellent" iPad Air? Is it good? Thinking to buy one.

      • I’d rate it “very good” rather than “excellent”, but no issues that could not be fixed with a good wipe down and a case. Screen and performance are good, and yet to really stretch the battery. Good value considering it has cellular.

        • Appreciate for your update. Just very minor cosmetic issues?

  • +1

is iPhone 11 Pro Max much worse than iPhone 13 Pro Max? Thinking of getting one for around $550 for the 64gb iPhone 11 Pro Max in very good condition

    • the biggest difference is the refresh rate, 11 pro mas is 60hz and 13 pro max is 120hz, if you don't care about refresh rate then 11 pro max still sufficient enough, but the battery might a bit old now as its a 3 years old phone

      • ok thanks, iphone 13 pro max is double the price, i think i will just go for the iphone 11 pro max.

        • Definitely go with iPhone 11 Pro Max. I am getting 1+ day battery often at 86% battery health. Even if you had to get a new battery from Apple it still is better value than buying new (if you don't care for latest features).

  • +1

Grab a Sliver Airpods Max, finalise at 494.
Thanks OP. First time try a refurbished item.

    • Can you share how's the condition of the Airpod Max?

      • +1

lol. Not arrived yet. Delivery may take more than a week. Will post after it arrives.

      • +2

Get the airpods max and check from Apple support.

        Package:
Coming without original package. Third party's package.

        Warranty:
        Valid Purchase Date
        Telephone Technical Support: Expired
        Repairs and Service Coverage: Expired

        Seller's 1year warranty may cover.
Double check the active date from a website. Saying the active date is on 1977. Definitely is wrong. Not sure why. May be Apple adjusted it or it has been replaced some parts leading incorrect active date.

        Conditions:
Not bad. In a pretty good condition. Tiny scratch on the bottom. Case is clean, frame is clean. All functionalities work well.

      • +2

        battery life update:

        1.5hrs use, drop from 100% to 92%

roughly around 18hrs before it runs out of power.

Use 20hrs as a threshold, battery life should be around 93%, not bad.

Deal yes maybe but meh . I no longer ebay plus signup again full stop until ebay actually guarantee it ! Can't be bothered. Past experience. nah

  • Is this possible to use Ebay gift card? I tried for the Airpods Max but git error.

    • After checking their payment I think gift card is not allowed for the Airpods max.

      • how is that possible?

  • Thanks OP! Grabbed an iPhone 12 pro max in excellent condition for $876. I have been looking for it for a few weeks now.

  • Anyone interested in the beyerdynamic earbuds? It's highly rated at this priceevel. This refurb is only $40 less than brand new one. Not sure whether to taste other's ear wax for $40 benefit.

    • I think you misread earbuds for taste bud. The former are meant to be go on your ears, not on your tongue 😉

    • Seller just replied my query, says the earphones are in brand new condition.

    • I think they are keeping the listing as placeholder. At least it is a better deal than their iPhone 6 cases (and everyone thinks only Apple stores overcharge LOL) https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/204060013500

      • Thanks bought a few. Can't wait to resell! Apple holds great value right?

  • Does anyone know if Iphone will still be covered with Apple warranty for these refurbishment items? Thanks

    • +2

Refurbished warranty is covered by the seller unless otherwise started would be how I would expect it to be.

  • Would you buy used PSU if the price is good?

Corsair AX1200i Digital ATX PSU $155.99

maybe lower if you make offer

    • +1

Seems like a great deal until you realise it only comes with 2 8-pin PCIe cables. If you can access a couple of extras for cheap then it'd be worth it, but from my research they're generally around $20-30 for 2, which removes some of the benefit of it being cheap

Crap post putting a pic of a iPad but it’s not even in the list in your description!

    • +1

Did you even look? There are loads of Refurb iPads with 20% off, lazy or what.

  • Any suggestions for a low power refurbed thin client with dual or quad nic to run pfSense ?

  • +1

Update for anyone who is interested in the Airpods Max.

Definitely more than 1 year old.

No original package. Mine ran out of power and needed to be charged for a while.

Totally in a good condition, tiny scratch on bottom.

    • +2

Same for mine. Also missing the Lightning to USB-C cable.

If you want to pick up the bi-directional** 'Lightning to 3.5-mm Audio Cable (1.2 m)' audio cable (e.g. for airplane use), it's currently cheaper ($25.80) than via the Apple Store ($55) here:
      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/403615275517

I had an eBay Plus voucher which saved $10, so $15.80 all up for me (and even then, that's too expensive for this cable).

** Apple are the only ones to make this type of bi-directional audio cable. There are no 3rd-party ones on the market. You also can't use the cheaper 'Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter' with AirPods Max as it's not bi-directional (I even tried using one I already owned - no joy).

      • Oh my Jesus, I did not know there is a cable. lol, but I may prefer to use Bluetooth to connect, not urgent to grab a cable. Test for more than 3 hrs last night, I reckon it is a good deal.
