đŸ˜‚ my bad. Leaving it though.

WoWHD. That brings back memories. I used to buy music CD's from them through eBay.
    Great seller.

Good price but QC for the elite controllers isn't great imo. I'd be wary of returns. Mine has dodgy B/Y buttons and I've seen another with a loose joystick.

Yeah, you definitely want local warranty.

Had to return one with a dodgy button.

      • I made the mistake of take the face plate off (not my greatest move)…. Ended up putting some thin tape on the edge of the buttons so they'd register properly.

Mine had a sticky A to start with and definitely loosened up, just needed me to spam it for it to be fine, hope that’s your only issue.
I’ve got a bit of stick drift now but it’s 3y old

      • Come to think of it I think mine had that issue and the B/Y didn't register half the time. I ended up putting thin tape on the right edge which seems to have fixed it. Good controller otherwise.

    • Mine has a sensitive RB button that sometimes registers two presses for one. Fine otherwise, but can be annoying.

  • What is a good resale value for one of these that's never been used? I bought a bundle from someone today because I wanted the headset but no need for the controller :)

Easiest way is to look at eBay sold listings.

      • And then sell it on FB to avoid Fees and potential scams.

        Priced accordingly.

    preparing for christ.

    Jesus take the wheel controller

  • $344.90?

    • Back down now. Keeps changing…

  • Damm, missed it. I didnt want to pay more than $150 for one (what I paid for my series 1 Elite), but this is the cheapest I've ever seen (first time below $200?).

Oh well, dont really need it…

    • Try again in a bit. The price goes up and down. It’s like they sell one and then the price goes up.

I tried earlier today and accidentally brought it for $344.90, the price changed while I was checking out. I got a refund after calling Catch. Then I tried again later and got one for the $179 price.

    • $178.90 again now

      • Cheers - in the meantime, I've been doublechecking compatability, and looks like a 2021 update (from bluetooth classic to BLE) renders these incompatible with controller adapters for the Nintendo Switch! :(

So looks like I would have to purchase another Brook adapter (have one for my Elite v1), which adds another $100 to the total…so I'm back to $250+ to get this working on my Switch! Dammit.

I'll think about it…hopefully it's still available after I mull it over!

    • Just buy the core one and the pads from ebay for $12

Hmm, I've got 2 series 1's, but kind of want a series 2…

    • Same dilemma. One still BNIB, might have to handball off if this comes back around

I wouldn't do it unless it gets local warranty with Microsoft. I love mine, but sent it back to MS multiple times for warranty claims. They warranty experience is not bad for a local one, but these are notorious for needing it.

  • Thanks OP, grabbed one.

Had an odd issue; I paid through credit card, and it said it was confirmed. Then I got an email notification saying my order had been cancelled due to it not meeting their 'system's verification requirements'. I then ordered it again, using PayPal, and it seems to have worked now. Has this happened to anybody else before?

Upvoted just for the description. We just never know when he will return.

  • Honestly I just got the regular Xbox Series with cable for regular price and it really good for Fifa and other games, it is definitely an improvement over the older Xbox One controller.

Like unless you are playing fps games and super tuning it isn't worth the extra.

  • RBA: We will raise interest rates in the hopes that people stop spending all their money on dumb shit. Right? Right…?

  • Just wondering, i am a Keyboard an mouse player thinking of started doing a controller… i tried it but its a mission to look around but its all new to my hands looking to press a button. Will this be better to get use to over the standard xbox one controller. Mainly perhaps because of the triggers at the bottom of the controller.. if not I'll just sell the one i have as I don't need 2.
