  • This feels like a reverse auction!

  • Is the validity of the plan 1 year from the date of activation? And the activation has to be within 30 days from purchase or can be delayed (keeping cashback issue aside)?

    • That's right! :)

      • What happens if you missed to activate the sim within 30 days?

  • Trying to order and I keep getting an error when I try to pay. Have tried a few time over the past couple hours. Anyone else having issues?

    • Hi there! We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing issues while trying to place your order. This is most likely related to fraud triggers that are automatically set in place by our order processing platform and other providers like your Bank and Credit card in order to avoid fraudulent transactions. We understand this can be highly frustrating when trying to place a legitimate order, but this sits outside of Boost’s control.

Below is a list of indicators that can affect how your order is flagged in different financial systems, which can hopefully help you understand what is going wrong:

      • Are the characteristics of this order similar to non-fraudulent orders observed in the past?
      • Are the characterises of this order similar to an order that was placed recently?
      • Is the card verification value (CVV) correct?
      • Does the billing address match the credit card’s registered address?
      • Does the billing address ZIP or postal code match the credit card’s registered address?
      • Was there more than 1 payment attempt?
      • Was the payment made with 1 credit card?
      • Does the billing country match the country from which the order was placed?
      • The IP address used to place the order isn’t a high-risk internet connection?
      • The browser used to place the order isn’t a high-risk browser

Based on the above, we suggest that you take the following actions when trying to place an order:

      • Check if your ID details are correct
      • Check if your payment details are correct
      • Enter the delivery address manually
      • Try to place the order using a different personal device
      • Try to place the order on a different browser
      • Try to place the order using a different payment method
      • Try to place the order using a different email address

If you continue to have the same issue, our customer service team may be able to help you at [email protected]

  • Can the SIM be activated when you are traveling abroad? My guess is it should work because it's all online. Right?

  • How far this is going to reduce?!
I can see earning some by buying these in the future!

  • +1

Placed the order, cashback tracked almost instantly. No troubles whatsoever.
    Thanks OP and CR.

  • just tried to order and got the following:

    SORRY, SOMETHING WENT WRONG

We’re sorry but we’re experiencing technical issues. Please try again later.

    Anyone else getting this error?

    • +1

Try another credit or debit card

    • Yeah same here

    • all good worked after a couple of tries (although was annoying having to type out info again multiple times)

      • Weird, I tried a bunch of times over about 30 mins in different browsers/cards and the CR app. Oh well, maybe Black Friday will have a good deal

  • I paid $200 for a recent Boost 1 year 130GB recharge from one of the ozbargini deals

and the Boost guy Vishnu told me I could expect a $50 rebate within 14 days

3 months later I haven't seen that rebate - guess I'm in the far queue …

    • I bought a $300 sim last month, do you think I'm eligible for $50 rebate ? ;)

  • Is anyone else having issues with entering their ID details for the Activation?
It won't let me enter my Given name, Family name, and Date of Birth - but lets me only enter my Middle name.

      • Thanks.
Ended up doing it over the phone.

  • Hi,
My Boost sim from this deal seems to be taking longer than normal to get delivered to me in Metro Melbourne.
Order placed on 12th Nov. 7 business days has elapsed and still hasn't arrived in the mail.
Wondering if anyone can share their experience of delivery time from this deal.
    Thanks!

    • I received mine last Friday I think
