    I'm new to Boost and was with Telstra a few years ago. Do any Telstra promos apply to Boost customers? Wondering whether it's worth reinstalling the Telstra app.

      Not as far as im aware (ex-Telstra staff), their front end customer facing stuff treats them as seprate entities, but internally all customers are on the same systems. In all honesty though using the network on either provider feels no different to me espeically since 5G rolled out. It's free so id say why not just take the points, you dont have to have any active services for this offer, so its basically a win win win considering they already have all your personal data :P

      Telstra's version of an overpriced online marketplace selling Telco products and accessories, a card in this case is any eligible VISA/MasterCard CC ort Debit card its pretty clear in the fine print.

        The marketplace seem to be more of a rewards program for shipping at participating 3rd party local businesses that they are promoting rather than a shop.

          Yeah its definitely got that vibe to it, which i dont mind at all. Support local where you can, even if its benfitting Telstra to some extent. Id much rather spend some money with a local business rather than having to default to Harvey or Amazon.

          Thats the benefit of linking your card, even if you dont shop for products on the marketplace itself you still get the Telstra points as theres a 3rd party tracking your shopping habits.

    The reason I asked is because I just checked my emails and my Telstra app> Telstra Plus> Telstra Plus Marke, but didn't see any reference to the 13k bonus points.

    I wonder if it is targeted?

        Hmmm… nope.

        I went to Telstra app> Telstra Plus> Telstra Plus Market> was presented with "Manage your account" - Linked cards, Interests, Offers. I've clicked through each of these and there's no prompt talking about the 13K points and was unable to locate the "Things you need to know" section that you had referenced.

        Perhaps I'm in the wrong section of the app? I wonder if anyone has a screenshot of the bonus points note.

      I tried the same thing - removed my existing card and added a new card when this deal went live (previously had received the 10,000 points from the old card).

      A few days later, I got the following confirmation email:

          cant remember but it was someting small and like $1, choose pickup then later tell them dont bother keep the money i wont come to pickup but dont cancel the purchase

    Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the linking of your credit card to Telstra Plus Market allows a third-party (that is involved in overseeing this scheme) to get details of your purchases from Visa/Mastercard for the purpose of validating points that you will earn on purchases (this was outlined when I read the T's &Cs many months back). I'm not comfortable with that arrangement as I have no idea what other non-Telstra Plus Market info will be available to the third-party.

        My understanding was that the linking of the credit card was for Telstra Plus Market purchases only. You have to make Telstra Plus Market purchases using the linked credit card in order to earn points. I have no issue with that per se, it's the monitoring of your credit card purchases by a third party that makes me reluctant to accept their T's&C's.

      click on the points on the home screen in the app, a submenu opens up, choose telstra market plus.

      ps: I could not see this offer on the app. I previously had not linked any card and I just did, but have not seen any acknowledgement of 13K points anywhere yet.

      Okay I figured it out. From within the app, login, slick your tier (mine is silver) at the top of the home screen > Telstra Plus Market > then go through the prompts.
