You must meet the eligibility criteria for the brand’s standard Cashback in order to get the Westpac bonus Cashback. The same terms as usual for each store will apply, with one exception in that orders that track at 0% Cashback will not be eligible for Westpac bonus Cashback

How will the Westpac bonus Cashback track?
Westpac bonus Cashback will track with the same process and timeframes as Cashback and Bonuses. You’ll receive a separate notification for the Westpac bonus Cashback when it tracks.

      Hey mate, so promo codes aren't usable to get Cashback for this one, and note that if the Cashback tracks at $0 (like with 0% categories or when using promo codes at eBay), the Bonus Cashback from the Lounge will not be awarded as well, so best to avoid for this one!

      EDIT: Hey all! The above promo code exclusion will apply in future day, but today the 8% Cashback upsize is stackable with promo/voucher code use! So you're all good to use codes to stack up on value today.

        Hey gyb, I can't see where in the normal 8% cash back deal it says that coupon codes are ok.

        I've got a few one off codes I'd like to use and a Westpac card, so should be ok to do a few orders and get 18% back on then as well with the codes?

    If you buy a gift card with westpac card, do you get a bonus 2% cashback?

    If not, buying straight from Ebay with westpac card is actually worse as the cashback on gift cards is higher

        I do wonder though, how this is cross-checked in reality. Do the merchants really send Shopback the credit card used in order to validate it’s a Westpac card? And what if I use PayPal (but charged to a Westpac card)? Then how would this be verified?

          It's in the terms that PayPal won't work. However Google and Apple pay will.

          • Purchases made using digital wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay will be eligible for Westpac bonus Cashback as long as an eligible card is used as the linked payment method at the merchant’s checkout.

          • Purchases made using online payment methods such as PayPal, where ShopBack is not able to identify whether an eligible card was used at the merchant checkout, will not qualify for Westpac bonus Cashback (even where an eligible card is linked e.g. to the PayPal account).

    So ~ $122 (including GST) is the maximum spend at 18% to hit the $20 cap
    and you can do that twice to hit the $40 total cap

        Hey mate, sorry I didn't see your comment in time, for future ref the Bonus will stack as long as an eligible card is used and the Cashback tracks, and will be based on the transaction amount reported to us. Always best to check the terms for each merchant to know for sure, as some merchants will invalidate Cashback on transactions paid partially on gift card, others will track the Cashback based on the order total less the amount paid for by gift card. eBay will track with the gift card amount included though IRT yesterday's promo.
