  • Mr. Burns: "Want it black, don't you? Black like your heart! It's so hard for me to listen to you… [shouts]. Mr. Burns : I hate you all so much!"

  • Does this connect to PC?

    • +1

Yes, even the old Xbox One Controllers do too. Bluetooth (what I mainly use, no noticeable input latency/lag) or USB or the dongle which I haven't used.

    • +2

Yup, I have mine connected via USB C, but I have had it connected via Bluetooth too (Windows 10).
I don't use it for many games, but haven't come across a game that it doesn't work in yet.

    • I just got the white one delivered today from Amazon. At first it was constantly dropping out on bluetooth every 20 seconds or so (from half a meter away from the pc), but a reddit post recommended attaching the motherboard's wifi antenna if it has one and that seems to have fixed it for myself and a lot of others. If your motherboard doesn't have one of those it might be very finicky over bluetooth. Otherwise you'll need to buy the adapter, or a usb-c data cable.

It also requires aa batteries, so either buying those constantly or getting rechargeables, or the rechargeable pack built for the controller.

    • +1

Is the wireless adapter option needed?

      • Trying to figure this out too. If your PC doesn't have bluetooth, then yes I think you either need the wireless adapter or you can use it wired (usb cable). I havent figured out if you can just buy a generic bluetooth adapter and use that

        • Imo, better off using the actual xbox usb adapter. Much better. It works great with no lag. I use a elite 2 and a turtle beach headset via it, even at the same time and no issues. I did use the controllers advertised also before i upgradged and it was perfectly fine also.

          • @Jake17: Thank you, that's helpful to know, I got the one with adapter for $79

  • Is this controller the same as the one coming with the XSX console?

    • +1

      Yup

  • +1

Is this compatible with original Xbox One? Yes I still have it and it works fine

    • Supposedly so…
"Quickly pair with, play on, and switch between devices including Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Windows 10 PCs"

    • -1

Yes. I used to use them with my xbox one X, no issues.

  • The only Xbox controller that I ever had was the 360 one and I didn't like it. It felt too chunky in my hands. I hope this one is better.

    • Doubt this will change your mind then.

      • Really depends on what controllers you've gotten used to over the years.

Can this be used to play games on Tesla

  • +4

All colours are now $69 on Amazon

    • Amazon are matching BigW

    • Dam. Tried to cancel and too late. There is also a limit of 1 on some colours, which turns out is enforced so can't re-order and return the original order.

  • If in doubt, rub one out.

  • +1

    'nice'

  • do they come with the rechargable battery now or is that an extra thing?

    • Unfortunately, its non rechargeable unless you buy a batterypack for it. Otherwise its disposable AA batteries

    • +2

No, MS justified by saying they prefer the flexibility and users to have options.

I somewhat agree as batteries don't last forever. I had many 360 play and charge kits die on me.

      • the sticks will degrade faster than the battery will.

  • +1

    Thanks OP!

  • For PC and those that own both, how would this compare in quality to the 8bitdo Pro 2?

  • +1

Black with usb c cable included now also $69. Nice.
