          then need a dock.
but probably 1 screen is enough for you usage. have you owned 4k 32" before? its not the same as 32" FHD

          • @CyberMurning: I never used 2 screens 4K 32", currently on a 27inch and a 15inch laptop so it will make a improvement

  • +1

    151 sold, and OOS.

WTF! I thought there were 400 units.

    • =(

    • see the comment below.

  • Just tried to order, out of stock :(.

  • +6

These are not sold out, the our back end inventory system can't keep up lol

    It should refresh shortly.

  • +1

    Definitely not USB-C.

Picture on eBay shows the 4 x USB A ports and 1 x USB B (aka printer cable) for the connection to the host (laptop/PC).

So in a sense it is a ‘dock’, just not one that will also power your laptop.

  • Good job guys, you crashed it!

  • Can any one please confirm for me if this has an internal or external power supply? And if external mind telling me what voltage goes into it?

    Cheers

    • +1

Internal power supply, (same as Dell monitors) 110v-240vac to it directly.

buy first, think later…. DID NOT WORK THIS time. I fell for it with excitement haha not realising it's VA

  • Argh….just bought the gift cards through shopback and now sold out?

    • Back in stock.

  • "This item is out of stock."

  • +1

Says it's sold out but there were only 141 sold? werre there 400 units?

  • @Calmago Doe this come in original packaging? Is there any warranty?

  • -7

this only 60hz not a 120fps 4k display not worth it.

    • +1

It's not a gaming monitor though?

  • It's decent for the price. Still much prefer my 27" 4K IPS comparing them side by side though.

  • Should I buy it. My rule of thumb is IPS panel, but I really want 4K as I think I might prefer it over 1440p

    • +3

It depends on your budget. I personally only buy IPS panel PC monitors.

      • +2

This would do well as a cheap home office or work monitor.

    • +1

If you're sensitive to viewing angles don't get this. I've tried a VA 4K 32" (probably similar to this one) and the corners have horrible gamma shift. The higher end VA panels found in high refresh monitors are a lot better. Also, you may still need scaling at 4K 32" so it won't give you that much extra screen real estate than a 1440p with no scaling.

      • Probably why there is few complaint about the Dell 32" curved (VA panel)

      • Thanks..could I ask , for a secondary gaming setup on Xbox series S, is this 32" monitor a lot better than this FHD 1080 29" IPS

        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/740250

        • +1

I would look at a 1440p non-ultrawide IPS for Series S. Ultrawide is pointless because consoles only do 16:9 aspect ratio. This monitor would still be a good option considering the price, you will just not be getting the native resolution on Series S.

  • +8

For a VA monitor this is still a great deal, unsure why people are moaning about it, never seen any 32inch 3k monitor this cheap

    • +12

It's OzB, if someone offered free silver the idiots would say "No deal, HODL until they offer us free gold bars"

    • +7

What the heck, they removed 1 of the K's?
      That's an outrage that is!

  • +3

    It's back.

    • Cheers grabbed one!

  • Aaaaand back in stock, SOLD.

  • Got one!

  • Of course this happens just as I buy a monitor lol.
Only issue is it’s 60hz anyway, so good for blender work but not for gaming.
Really feels to good to be true imo

  • +2

&&&&&… I bought 2. FMLD.. My wife still doesn't know yet, ahh well deal with it later, just wait till she sees the bank statement

    • dont worry show here this is 4K monitors… so you swap 2x4,000 with 2x217.55.. you are totally making profit this time

    • You could have bought gift cards first, and then tell her it is a surprise gift for her birthday. ;-)

    • +1
  • Any good triple horizontal 32" monitor arms? Had a look on Amazon last night but it seems like the few that could do it would barely manage and therefore the monitors would not curve in, or the weight would cause the monitors to tip forward. Starting to accept I might need to get 3x single or double + single..

  • +1

What's the warranty on these, it says 180 days on ebay but that can't be right

    • How about the the return plicy, would be good to know as well?

    • 4 year warranty from the paper coming with the monitor, unbelievable..

  • how would this be in a 2 monitor set up with this dell monitor? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/744892
presuming i game with the dell and watch/do work on this one worth it or not?

  • If you were to get 3x of this monitor and then use the code "SNSDEC" You will get $50 off the total ( Spend over $500 to get $50 off)
    $687 -50=$637
    $212.33 each

Or over $1000 to get 100 OFF

    As per post https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/746123

    • If anyone shopped during the September sales you may have a $25 off$150 spend promo code expiring December, brings this down to $204

  • +2

Picked one up. Xmas shopping has left me worse for wear, but I’d be kicking myself every day for the next year if I missed this chance to add a 4K to my work setup for this price.

  • +1

This or wait for the S2722QC

    • Nah, if it was 2018 maybe but this is a 5yr old panel now. Still worth picking up for office use at $200-ish but it's not a mind blowing bargain.

  • Awesome, good use of the $80 ebay Plus voucher! Was a bit salty about missing out on the other ones but new for a few bucks more is great.

Now have a full computer from you guys accidentally - those cheap HP xeon workstations and this monitor, baddaboom.

    Thanks OP!

    • What eBay voucher is this?

    • "accidentally " thats gold.
just make sure you dont get accidentally a wife/husband from ozb

  • Would this be OK for racing sim setup?
3 screens for F1 racing sim.

    • +1

Better to have a high refresh rate 32" monitor in the middle, and these as side screens.

    • +2

Input lag is high on this monitor, so no.

  • Hello OP, what, if any cables does this come with?

  • How the heck this one is still in stock after 2 hours??

  • From the specs PDF:

    MHL: 1080P @ 60Hz

Does that mean downscaling to HD I am connecting via HDMI my iPad or other mobile devices with much higher res than full HD?

    • +3

Only if you're using MHL, which is a discontinued standard and was only meant for FHD and lower IIRC.

  • And bought!!!

  • Is this good to edit 4K videos?

    • +1

Yes, from a previous owner , especially when you're in barget.

  • +1

Looks like it's gone down again, should sync back up shortly.

  • +2

Bought 2… not sure what I just did :)

    • Same. I'm not even sure 2 fit on my desk.

    • not sure what I just did
      you just bought 2 monitors

  • Thanks got one. I should have got two, hah.

  • nabbed one at around 1:30pm, after refreshing several times every couple of minutes from the previous OOS at 1pm~! currently says 347 units sold, should still be around 50 in stock when they reupdate the listing again

    • correct, keep smashing that F5 button.

  • 347 sold, waiting for inventory to sync.
Under $300 so fully tax deductable

  • Still out of stock. 75K not bad.

  • OOS again

  • +1

It's a 6 years old monitor, there's an updated version (4 years old) with USB-C.

But still a good choice for the size and resolution, build in speakers are handy.

  • God Damn it, you guys suck <it looks like it actually now is really actually finally actually out of stock>

  • @Why the description on the website says:

    "ENVIRONMENT
Buying refurbished isn’t just a great way to save money but a great way to do your bit for the environment…"

The warranty is only 6 months?

    • +1

on their website it says 12 months

      • Where can I see it says it is a brand new with 12 months warranty?

        Do you have the link?

  • +1

    Back in stock!

  • this isn't refurbished right?
bottom of the product page - WHY BUY FROM US mentions about Buying refurbished

    • +1

      this one is brand new:)

  • nice, just got one for the office. Finally I can upgrade from a 24inch dell 1080p. Corel and fusion 360 will look amazing on this.

  • FML missed out!

  • 397 sold, OOS, come on, where's the other 3??

    • +4

There are a few cancellations. We should have another 70 available in the next day or so.

      • So no use refreshing the eBay page currently then? Ideally wanted to try and get one before Xmas.

        • +4

TBH with the current issues that we are having across the board with freight. Ordering now and hoping to get it before Xmas is risky.

          • +1

@Calmago: Thanks for being upfront about this. Yeah it would be a risk, would just hope that express post plus Aus Post delivering on Saturday and it might make it.
