    Beat me to it 😅

Is the exclusion list growing with every perk coupon? By mid next year it’ll be valid for DVDs and mugs.

    Yes, JB sells mugs.

    • +1

Will exclude blu ray and 4K haha

  • +6

Remember you only have 2 days to use the code, not good if you want to combine it with some killer Boxing Day sales

      • +2

  • Any dedicated boxing day Ozbargain link for bookmarking? I couldn't find one.

  • Lolz , Confused whether to wait for boxing day or go ahead and shop

    • +2

      Boxing Day.

      • Code has to be redeemed by Dec 23.

        • +3

You'll save more money on Boxing Day discounts than $30 off $250.

    • Maybe just buy it just before code expires. Then when boxing day sale rolls around, check to see if it's cheaper. If it is, cancel the order. (looks like you can if it's click and collect)

      Return and buy again?

      • +1

I wish. Already opened and used 😔

        • +11

Buy again with the coupon and return the new unit with your old receipt.

    • +3

Just give them a call, they are usually very accommodating about this. Especially if it was only purchased yesterday.

  • +2

Hoping for good price of eufy 2k doorbell and security camera

      • I currently use a hacked together system of xiaomi and Imou cameras, I’d say they prob have the same issues being Chinese backed.

I guess the only other way to do it is a hardwired system, but the wireless for me was a good draw as there is at least 2 spots I’d like coverage but no easy way to cable out to it.

  • Brings the Garmin forerunner 245 I have been eying off down to $299, well now i am really tempted

    • +2

Good bit of kit. I'm satisfied with battery life and the Music variant actually pushes surprisingly decent sound.

    • Check with JB on whether they will price match this:
Garmin Forerunner 245, GPS Running Watch, Grey https://amzn.asia/d/73loMP0

      • It is $329 on JB

        your link is $248?

        • +1

Yes, so if JB price match Amazon you will save $81

          • +2

@Alias2000: Ah yes you're right. I shouldn't post on ozb before my morning coffee

      • +1

Thats the non music model, JB is only selling the music version

    • +4

JB sells a lot more than the exclusion if you bothered to look.

It doesn't even need to be 1 item, you can add a bunch of smaller costing items to make up the minimum.

Seems like those headphones are actually included nice find!

  • +30

    Quick reminder

You are better off letting this deal go by than desperately trying to purchase something that non essential.

    those exclusions :(

    • +3

+1….but a true ozbargainer never waits when spending 😂

  • Really waiting on telstra deals

    • -2

If you were planning to stack, this "deal" excludes most things they have,

And they definitely exclude phone and internet contracts.

$250 minimum spend required in one transaction on items excludes Apple, Dyson, DJI, Miele, Asko, Games Consoles, Microsoft Surface, phone & internet contracts, Dell Built to Order, Pre-Paid cards & Gift cards, Pre Orders, Extended Warranties, mobile extras & Delivery. • +2

I think you find that the list is not most things they sell and there are some good finds as mentioned already and there will be people looking for last minute presents and $30 off will help them.

        • -1

I would say that if the store is using more than 50% of it's display area to show those items, it would be fair to say "most items".

          • @Outsider: Have you ever visited a store??? Sounds like not.

      • Can you please stop copying and pasting the exclusion list multiple times? It's already mentioned in the OP.

@Royale with cheese is aware of the exclusions list, hence why they are "waiting"

        • -1

"If you were planning to stack".

Glad to know you can read minds.

      • No i was just complaining about my kogan running out tomorrow but waiting for boxing day for a potential deal

  • Was looking for massage equipment n found this.

Not sure if its good or not but im considering.

  • haha i can see JB hifi getting desperate for Xmas boxing day sale

  • +1

Was planning to get a spacetalk adventurer watch for my daughter so I jumped on that as the Bundle is $289 so down to $259. Took a gamble as we could have waited until after Xmas but not confident they’ll go any cheaper then.

    • I was considering of getting the SpaceTalk smartwatch for my son but bought an Apple Watch instead because of my son is left handed and based on the review SpaceTalk has an emergency button that is not suitable for left handed users.

Gets the pixel 6a to just over $500 cheap cheap

    • +1

Good deal. Drops to 4A to $275 delivered as well. Makes it a steal of a budget phone

    • Do you think Pixel 6a will go below 450 on a Boxing day sale?:)

  • +1

    Looking to get Google Doorbell.
Is it worth it for $233 (essentially $210 after 10% of gift cards).

    • -2

only worth it if the courier or auspost man press the doorbell

Most don't these days you might as well invest in motion detection cameras

Doorbell cameras have limited viewing angles

      • Amazon delivery people are faster than the people in Jalals bomb prank videos 🤣
I wouldn't know they have delivered if it wasn't for my motion detect cams or the Amazon delivery notifications!

        • +1

Exactly motion detection cameras > Doorbell. Just use a traditional wired doorbell. No Wifi, IoT, no batteries no mounting no worries andn o need to spend $200 for a filmy gadget

          • @neonlight: can you recommend a motion detection camera please? $200 is indeed a lot for a fancy doorbell!

            • +1

@sakurakiks: If you are living in a house just get Alexa ring floodlight or Google floodlight they work great. For apartment I don't have recommendations because usually there's a mail area…. Its not like you need a doorbell or camera… And if you are in old apartment postman just gives you the card and collect from post office anyway… Due to no mail room

      • they cannot press it if he does not have it.

our regular auspost guy always rings the intercom

    • +1

Ive had one for a few months and love it. Great as a stand alone doorbell as it announces some ones at the door on all my 6 google speakers. Helpful to talk to someone when you are not home. I find almost all delivery drivers ring the bell however I also get a motion alert for people / packages so if they don't ring you still get an alert plus recorded footage.

  • at least you can buy pokemon cards/toys with this.

    • better discounts for these elsewhere

  • Deleted this the moment I saw 23rd December. End of year would have made it interesting.

  • +1

They should just have an inclusion list because the exclusion list is too long. "Includes only floor rugs".

  • Just bought a new phone yesterday…..

  • Bought the Motorola Neo on the weekend for $455.05 with the 5% off.
Could have saved another $6.05 with this perks.

Used it to buy Sony WF-1000XM4 Truly Wireless Noise Cancelling In-Ear Headphones (Black) after contacting the live chat and getting it down to $291. Then applied thr $30 to make it $261 and used gift cards to pay for the difference (still had converted 15% gift cards = $221.85). Thanks OP!

    • True Ozbargain style! Well done :)

  • $250 minimum spend required in one transaction on items excludes Apple, Dyson, DJI

    sigh

I guess the $10 birth month perks code will have to do.

    • You can, but in store I guess. Better call store first

  • Oh no, JB is onto me.

I received perks code email on 1 account, but not on a second account with its dedicated verified mobile phone number.

  • If I'm using someone else's code, can I use it in store?

    • in the email from JB:

      How to redeem your coupon

      Online
Just enter your code in the 'Coupon code' box at checkout.

      In-store
Show the barcode above to our staff at the counter.

Definitely easier to buy online and collect in store if using someone else's code unless they can send you the barcode.

      • +1

without the barcode, the cashier can manually input the code.

        • Does the cashier ask for the email to check you have received the code? Ikea and Spotlight usually do but not sure how strict JB is.

  • Is there any mobile worth getting that is a good deal? My Redmi Note 4X is on its last legs and need to upgrade very soon. Also have a $80 gift card, so about $110 savings. Anything worth buying? Or look at Xiaomi phones for similar pricing?

  • The Western Digital Element 12TB deal is still available from Officeworks - Perfect time for price matching at JB and using your perks code for further savings!

  • +1

Well I made up my mind when I saw the voucher in my inbox and decided to get the Panasonic DP-UB820 4K Bluray player which is at the current sales price of $453 - minus $20 (since $10) for shipping so $433 is the current checkout price when compared to previous OzB posts.

  • Ended up getting the Breville Barista Express price matched to Amazon $565—$30 perks= $535 mixed with 10% off vouchers to make it under $500. Not the best price ever but close enough.

  • A couple of codes.
