It's been this price all year

    • Haven’t seen anything lower for a while. Did I miss them?

    • +5

      Wasn't it $98 all year?

  • How do i use this if i have existing subscription

    • +1

      I have the same question

    • Yeah… Anyone have any experience moving from one of the shitty Telstra business 365 packages to this?

I need to ditch the subscription as I don't need the housing etc for my website anymore but want the transition to be seemless and not lose any 365 data if possible!

you can stack to the max 5 years.only

  • Can I buy 2 of them to stack them for 2 years?

    • +2

Yes - you can stack for up to 5 years

  • any nod32 deals?

    • My nod32 Harris Technology sub expires too at the end of the month. Nod32 and windows firewall was a very good combo for me. I am using Kaspersky on one and Norton on the other at the moment.

      • -1

        is nod32 is very good.

I'm getting really tired of having to look up free trial keys every 30 days. A nod32 deal for 3 devices like previous deals would be great.

IIRC, the proper way to do this was to stack X years of Personal, then put in a final Family one for it to upgrade the remaining time, similar to what people are doing with Xbox Live Gold to Game Pass.

I don't remember the maximum amount of years you could stack though.

Either way, does not matter to me as Microsoft are locking in custom domains to the Business plans next November.

    • Can I please clarify if you don't mind:

If I purchase 4 personal and one family, will it switch to a 5 year family license?

      Thanks in advance :)

      • +1

        Yes.

If you have an active subscription already, that you are extending, only purchase 3 personal and one family: you can only stack 5 years in total, and the existing active subscription counts as one year (even if it is part way through - even if only one day).

Also, you can downgrade an existing family subscription to personal by stacking the first personal subscription to it (it warns you, but no-one should lose any data - provided you re-upgrade within the grace period which I think is 30 days) where they hold data for closed accounts), extended, then re-upgrading. Providing family members aren't using it, they won't even notice. How do I know - I did this :)

Do these expire at all? If I buy, I want to activate them in Nov 2023…

OFFICE365 is free for general use. What does this benefit?

    • This includes drive storage etc etc

    • Other than the 1TB free storage (handy for some, not all), this includes the desktop apps for PC, MAC etc.

    • It's only free for students.

  • Has been failing for me at checkout..

“Failure, Payment process is not complete .

Sorry, your payment process is not complete at this time. Please try again later.”

    • What payment method are you attempting?

i just tried one copy with payid and it was fine

    • +1

I had the same thing, waited half an hour and tried again and it went through fine. Received the code via email and claimed it on my account already 👌

  • -2

FYI any student with an @schools email gets this for free.

    • +4

Not really as those .edu types of account are linked and managed by the School/Uni. This "you" own and are fully self managed.

    • Your license will get reclaimed once you leave. So probably don't be storing measurable amounts of anything in OneDrive that you can't pull out of there in the 30 day grace period. (I'd also argue you should be encrypting the entirety of the contents on top of that, in addition to the 123 backup rule.)

  • Thx mate

  • Why are so many things priced at $69?

Conspiracy? I am really starting to think so…

    • you dont like 69 ?

  • +1

Got denied a price beat at local officeworks due to differing product codes… sigh

    • Update: tried price beat on the phone and they happily obliged. Took a while as they have to process them all separately with ultimate gift cards. But worth the savings….

Thanks for the reminder! I would have paid another $40 on the 1st of Jan.

  • $69 Expired but it's now discounted to $74.
