      How do you do this?

      • +3

ShopBack app then Earn More section and it is one of the highlighted deals for me.

  • Thanks. Need more plant protein.

    • This or INC or Bondi? For plant protein

      • +3

I've only ever tried the Musashi one. I'm a fan of all their products so I just go with them

        • +4

Can confirm Musashi is one of the better tasting plant proteins, and it's a decent price too. Worth picking up.

  • +2

I get this for plant protein. Inc for creatine.

    • INC seems to be cheaper than Musashi (as well as any other brand / store including Bulk Nutrients and Amino Z) for plant protein though?

      • Inc is a chemist warehouse brand.

Just like Coles and Woolworths do.

  • +1

+1 for their plant protein. i'm a fan of their pre workouts as well at this price, can't go wrong with any flavour.

  • +2

Damnit I just ordered 3kg from Bulk Nutrients… Could always use more, right?

  • +5

So basically they restored full retail price then said half? It's always this price. Not a a bargain.

    • +2

For some protein bars, its rarely half price. I know because I have been monitoring for the past 4-5 months. For the powders, yes typically half price.

  • +1

If you went with bulk nutrients you can never go wrong.

  • +1

It's 50% off some absurd rrp. 55$ for 2kg is pretty standard but if you need some like I did it's better than no discount

    • +2

Yeah not even a good deal compared to the $35ish it used to be when it was 50% off

  • +3

Their creatine used to cost $10 during 50% off. Other brands selling creatine 1kg for the same price as their 350g.
Their whey protein is also "dirty". Too much sugar imo.
The protein bars are great though, tastes alright, good for a meal in between or during workout. Not much sugar content too. I don't know about the quality of the protein inside these bars but shouldn't be a problem since I don't need high-quality proteins for in-between meals.

    • Can you direct me to a creatine deal?

  • +4

Prices have gone up. 2kg at half price used to be $43

    • +2

And before that it used to be $35.99 half
      Price.

    • Most protein powders have increased in price. Raw materials are costing producers more etc.

  • +1

What happened to Vitalstrength? Their prices are munted.

    • they deleted the 3kg and charge more for the 2kg now

      • +1

Just gonna stick with Inc WPI.

  • Hey guys, what difference between plant protein vs high protein vs whey? Seems like different servings sizes?

    • -5

Plant protein is made from plants. High protein is derived from Cannibis and makes you high and whey protein will have you asking why….

    • Whey is milk protein extract basically. Plant protein comes from plants instead. In my experience it's more gritty/sandy than Whey.
High protein blend contains more WPI than WPC and other additives, focusing purely on maximising protein per serve. Normal blend has a bit of fat and carbs.

      • WPC - Whey Protein Concentrate is a single filtered standard product.
WPI - Whey Protein Isolate is a double filtered premium product, which removes more fats and carbs resulting in a more pure protein concentrate.

        • And lactose for those lactose intolerant. Not all lactase but most :)

    • +1

Yea I noticed a while ago that their different products tend to have different protein amounts per serve on the front but also have different sized cups. So can't say if there's any difference in the powder itself 😅

    Awesome for growing a Moustache!

  • Shopback didn't track my purchase. I'm new and used a user referal link. How does the 5 off 50 work?

    • Order was made about 20 mins ago, could be a problem? Cashrewards is usually instant tracking.

      • +1

Mine tracked 2 hours after getting confirmation email from CWH

  • I just opened my last 2kg container of Musashi Chocolate Whey so this is good timing for me. Thanks.

    • How long does 2kg mix last if you’re making a cup to drink once a day, as either pre or post workout?

      • If it's the 100% Whey then 2kg is 60 serves (1 scoop each).
The product picture on the website shows the amount of servings in a container.

        • So about 2 months. Thx

Actually it says 44 servings so about 1.5 months

          • @MuddyClear: The amount of servings/scoop size depends on the product, hence "If it's the 100% Whey".
            100% Whey is 60 @ 25g protein ea.
            High Protein is 44 @ 30g ea.
            Shred & Burn is 58 @ 22g ea, etc.

            • @zonra: Thanks for the info. Can you tell me the % Whey for High Protein and Shred and Burn?

  • Musashi brand or amino z (wpi)?

    • +1

Amino Z has much higher protein %

      • Musashi 2kg High Protein Vanilla is 93%.

        What % is Amino Z?

        • +1

What are you on about lol - read the nutritional label, not the ingredients

          It's 66.6% for Musashi high protein. (66.6g per 100g): https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/91355/musashi-high-p…

Amino Z is 80-87% depending on flavour: https://www.aminoz.com.au/amino-z-whey-protein-isolate-wpi.h…

          • @exit: Hahaha sorry my bad.

Amino Z is the way to go for higher protein concentrate. It’s a lot more expensive too. What is a good price for 1kg/3kg of this product? I think they are doing a Boxing Day sale on this stuff right now

            • +1

@MuddyClear: Amino Z is doing a $50 cashback deal on 4kg of WPI so it is $25/kg which is much better than Musashi and easily the cheapest for such product in Australia. You would normally be looking at $45/kg at online sites such as Bulk Nutrients and up to $70/kg from retail supplement stores for protein with comparable %/purity

              • +1

@exit: It’s actually $50 store credit, so not quite $25/kg… still a good deal though

                • @MuddyClear: Still pretty good since they have a pretty big range of products on their website to use the credit on including musashi + price match function

  • Great for the 35g bars, everything else always seems a bad deal.

  • will the cashback track if we pay with chemist warehouse gift card.

  • Just moved and now the nearest CW is 35 mins away from me :(
Does anybody know if I could do click and collect and collect >1 week later please?

    • they do delivery > $150

  • Good deal, Accidentally bought in store a 2kg chocolate in plant protein instead of whey, if anyone likes it happy to sell it to you and post it? I tried 1 scoop before I realised:(

  • my mate started using Musashi protein and stared loosing his hair

  • +1

Went to chemist warehouse today and all other proteins were on sale too. My go to is inc protein

    • $43.19 for 2KG is a better price. Which flavour do you recommend?

I'm currently using the chocolate which is ok but I'm almost out so looking to try a different one.

      • +1

After years of drinking proteins, learnt the hard way that chocolate definitely the go to regardless of brands :). The strawberry is pretty good but gets a bit too much after awhile. Vanilla is the same. Quite sweet. Chocolate is always good and never as over bearing long term

  • Is Musashi ZMA worth it? I mean it's on the cheaper side, but seems like the potency is a bit lower? Any OzB aesthetic expert can comment?
