Email support. I've had previous hosting with them where on 2 occasions I emailed saying my discounted term was ending, and I don't see the value of the full price package so I will be leaving unless I can move to the new discounted plan. This could have been as my site were very low traffic/resources.
Will do. I don't mind (and expect to) pay a bit more than the initial term, but full price is hard to justify for me - as it's a very small site and competition is fierce. I will say VentraIP has been great support wise, and I'd still like to go through them if possible!

Domain renewals are typically very rare as they normally rely on registry discounts which mostly apply to 1st year. If you need to save money on domains the best option is to use a low cost high volume provider with goods services and support.
