        Looking back at his posts, it was 2021 where he posted his final sale of the year twice.

        I also feel he is using this platform for advertising when he needs more money, rather than actually offering a valuable service or good at a discounted price.

            @Maz78: I actually understand that side of it. Dude brings a lot of energy, and can be a quirky way to announce or share stuff. What I don't like is a fictional slashing of 90% on a service rather than a commodity.

            Even the cyclical sales at supermarkets aren't bold enough to mark things up 10x what they're willing to sell it for, just to get that flashy "90% off" banner.

            Then if he kept it to 10USD all the time, he'd never get to advertise here.

            It's a fictional discount price, used as a marketing strategy, and Ozbargain is one of his advertisement channels for that strategy.

            I just don't like seeing posts like this on the site.

    I like this dude, hence the upvote but I have no issues with other people giving their views and downvoting. That's the beauty of OzBargain, it's democratic and the downvotes give people food for thought, at least something to be aware of specifically that 90% off sales are very regular so there's no need to rush or feel time pressured to catch this deal at the very least.

      Thanks for your kind words. I am all for democracy which is why comments are open on my YouTube channel. The sad thing here on Oz is the tenor of some comments made against myself. Like "He is not an Aussie and should not be posting here", "Giving money to a stranger to read stupid lines", "This is a scam" plus other hateful comments I cannot write here. I have stayed away from scams all my life as my father taught me and everything I do is honest and always renders service for the money I get. I stayed away from OZ for a whole year and when I came back, the hate had not abated. I do not see personal attacks on any other deals on this platform, even deals that are permanent. But I guess that is life and you can win 'em all. All the best.

        Yes, I agree, I do not support personal attacks, just only discussion on the bargain itself. Unfortunately, a lot of Australians are ignorant and a key reason is due to the Murdoch press. Murdoch has promoted division and hatred in USA and UK, but unfortunately he is Aussie and he's also done so here. Please understand many Aussies are very kind and very thoughtful but I acknowledge that there is a noisy minority who are very ignorant.

          Thank you. I actually have had great experiences working with Aussies. I have done scores of videos for the Brisbane Capitals and appeared on the big screen during matches. Aussie businesses have sent me merch such as ties to use and endorse and Australia is the second highest source of income for my videos after the USA. Let's hope that reason will prevail here on the platform. All the best.

        T, OzB' is a sad place a lot of the time. There's great people here, but also sad people that hate.

        Many of these sad people are drawn to OzB because their sad little lives are based on consumption: Overeating food, Drugs, Alcohol and SHOPPING.

        Excessive consumption can lead to physical and financial problems, and having run low on money, many have found OzB as a solution to filling their lives with HEAPS, for CHEAP. They'll refresh OzBargain deals page, a few times a day, praying for a 'too good to be true' offer to appear and be honored… while their lives are slowly going down hill.

        These people gather here, on OzBargain, exposing their self-esteem issues, neurosis and hatred to others such as you see in your posts: They want to bring people down instead of listing themselves up. The "consumption as therapy" they practice provides temporary relief but ultimately perpetuates feelings of guilt and shame, so they take it out on other members of this community.

        But anyway, welcome to OzB, Mr T!

        I haven't noticed your posts before this but from the comments it looks like you post your own business often enough that that's probably why people get annoyed. You're not a store rep, you're a business owner advertising your services. While I get that it's a discount, it just feels like it's just an add and done too much, adds look like spam.
        Edit: actually just looked and the only deals you ever post are for your own business.
