Hello! This is my first post please be gentle :)

I bought a DeWalt DCH033M1-XE 18V 4.0Ah XR Cordless Brushless SDS Plus Rotary Hammer Combo Kit - $199 from this deal(https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/755530) and asked a lot of dumb questions in the post, appreciate the OZBargain community to answer my questions with very helpful answers. From one of the answer, turn out I could not use the normal drill for this DeWalt SDS Plus Rotary Hammer, and the answer suggested that I need a SDS-Plus compatible drills which have a link to a Makita 17-Piece SDS Plus Drill & Chisel Set - D-53073 $49 + Delivery @ TradeTools deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/755883). However, the C&C is now available for TradeTools, so either you pay the delivery or instore to buy it. Before I got chance to go to my local TradeTools store, TradeTools had changed the price to $65.

After the persistent searches in the past few days, I found that now Total Tools has the Makita 17-Piece SDS Plus Drill & Chisel Set for $49 with C&C, so now it a chance for those who missed last deal.

I ask quite a lot of stupid questions in OZBargain, I can always count on finding the people of OZBargain community who can provide me with well-informed answers to my questions. This has helped me quite a lot. After discovering this deal, I realized that it was an opportunity for me to share it with the OZBargain community.

After reading some comments, I just tried and looks like if your IP address is from QLD, you can buy it for $49 in nation-wide. When I checked out by Delivery or C&C from different VIC, ACT, SA and NSW stores, it is for $49.

Anyone if you can make a VPN to QLD by using QLD IPs(not location spoofing) you should get it for $49 no matter which state you are!

    For $49 its worth while. For $80? nah, id just go the ebay/amazon kit https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/144357903306 @ around $37

    If you actually ever get around to wearing one out just replace that size with a high quality for $5-10 and bunnings or similar.

        I’m in QLD and I let the site see my location. Not sure if that helped? $49 in stock at Maroochydore and Noosaville. Not that I need this :-)

    I spoofed my location to somewhere near Sunshine Coast and am getting $79.

      Can you try spoofing your location to Maroochydore or Noosaville? A post stated that "$49 in stock at Maroochydore and Noosaville."

        Even tried VPN to Brisbane and set store 'using my location', comes up as East Brisbane store but still $79.

            @audreamer: Yeah weird, I did VPN to QLD earlier and it came up as $79.
            Just tried again after seeing your comment, and now shows $49.
            Could have not started a new browser session when I first connected VPN?
            Who knows… but anyway all sorted, thanks!

              @Benatron: Thank you for your feedback. The only thing I could think of it is that maybe TotalTools' IP location is not 100% accurate, that could explain why the second QLD IP you used worked.

                @audreamer: Can confirm. Bothered signing up to Nord, with a Brisbane IP and a Maroochydore spoof, we're at $49.

    On Aliexpress, they have 4 tip sds plus bits from 5-12mm $4-$5 each. Lavie brand. They chomp through brick with ease. Worth considering, especially if you only needed a few sizes.

      Thanks to the OZBargain community, from the linked post, I have learned a lot. Now I know the difference between rotary hammer, hammer drill and impact driver. And I just bought myself a AEG 18V 4.0Ah 2-Piece Brushless FORCE Combo Kit from this post(https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/757531). Turn out this AEG deal is better than the ozito deal.

      OZBargain is a great place to learn things and have fun!
