  • Base price seems great for the 4070 ti - I feel the upgrade cost to the 5800x3D to be a bit expensive though - would pair nicely with this build.

    • Thanks for the feedback! CPU’s are hard to get at a good price a lot of the time. Would be nice if we could get it a bit cheaper!

      • Yeah very fair! I absolutely love the thermal paste options too BTW. Liquid metal would have this thing running very cool!

        • +3

Hahah it definitely would! We’ll be adding sleeved cable options soon too!

  • +3

    well, NZXT H1 V2 is 299. Why you choose V1 for 399?
    https://www.ple.com.au/Products/650956/nzxt-h1-v2-sff-case-w…

    • +4

Sorry, it’s v2 and includes the AIO and power supply. V2 with these inclusions is $399 right now.

      • +3

They provided a link to that exact V2 product at $299, in fact it seems to have a 140mm CPU cooler over the 120mm you've got listed. So your reply is inaccurate

        • +4

Apologies. It is a 140mm AIO and our price was based off the PCCaseGear price of $399 (which was $299).

          • -1

@enigmapc: People aren't going to not buy your pre-built because they can get the components individually for $50 less (not including shipping). But you'll do reputational damage by listing PCPartPicker items that aren't at their cheapest available prices

            • +12

@TimR31: For where we are located, PLE won’t ship us that case. Therefore, for us, the cost is $399.

We don’t get complete access to such pricing on things. For instance, our buy price for this case if we went through a distributor is around $540ish!

There are more factors involved when pricing PC’s. You need to take into account the time taken to build the computer, as well as the service of 1 year (return to base) warranty.

Yes, there are 3 year warranties on most components, but the service provided for a 1 year (return to base) warranty is as follows:

              • We pay shipping from you to us and us to you.
              • We provide you with a replacement part straight away, instead of you waiting potentially up to 6 weeks to revive your fixed part back, which may not necessarily be a replacement.

I think all these factors included, we have presented the price correctly.

    • +1

      Cheers! Fixed.

  • Comparing the 1799 Tower special edition with this 1299 Rtx3070 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/757277
Is the $500 premium worth it for a better CPU and better case but worse GPU? New to gaming PC so wanted to find out what am I missing

    • +3

It is a hard one. You do get the benefit of having a current gen cpu. M/B is a good last gen option. Anything small form factor is just generally more expensive.

      • Suggestion for the next one: 3070 at $1299 please. Bigger case is fine

      • 100 percent this.
I built a 3070 13600kf itx case and it cost just over 2500. So anything small is expensive.
(Btw never ever put a 13600kf or higher in an itx case, it's just way too hot of a CPU and big coolera don't fit )

I grabbed one of the NZXT cases from this deal : https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/750864

It's good to work with and looks good too, but be aware it's pretty noisy. The PSU fan and pump cannot be controlled at all and always run 100%. I'd choose differently based just on noise levels if I had my time over.

    • That was a great deal!

It’s probably the best case for ease of use. There are so many cool SFF cases out there. Problem is a lot of them are incredibly expensive! Even compared to the H1 V2!

    • Oh damn, I was about to pull the trigger on that deal for 299. I am a bit noise sensitive TBH.

  • Good deal, any chance of a 4070ti being/becoming available on this deal that has 5 inputs (e.g. ASUS TUF 4070ti?)

    • +3

Send us a DM - we can just swap out the 4070Ti with one that has 5 inputs for your build

  • Any chance of a more powerful GPU in the ITX build? Also what is the delivery time like at the moment? I head overseas end of next week so a bit of a rush 😅

    • +2

We can custom quote you on some other GPUs - Delivery time frame is still 3-5 business days so you will be fine for end of next week.

Just shoot us a DM and let us know what GPU you were thinking of putting in

      • +2

Just so the other bargainers know, worth a DM for other card options. Reasonable prices but more importantly flexible options!

  • +1

    4080 build incoming? :)

    • Shoot us a DM - we might be able to upgrade you

      • Sent a message to your Facebook page (much easier to track)

        • Haha that it is!

  • +4

Props to you for another great deal and being involved with suggestions and feedback! Hoping to see an RX 6600 build or something similar for those with a tighter budget.
    Keep up the good work!

    • +1

Thanks very much! We’ll take a look at doing a AMD 6000 series build soon.

  • +2

Nice rig. I'd suggest the BPC 4070Ti probably tops this for a little extra (and 2 years warranty standard), but this is a nice setup for $80 less. Kudos on another good deal team. Keep it up.

    • +2

Thanks! We’re doing our best to compete :)

  • +3

Super impressed with these deals, loving the transparency and communication from the rep. Well played sir!

    • +1

Thank you very much kind sir!

  • $3,000 builds

  • Upgrades a bit rich but this is standard practice I guess. RAM upgrades a bit pricey and strange, why would we upgrade to 32gb @2666mhz?

  • Keen as mustard on an ITX build with a more powerful GPU…. anything available?

    • +1

Shoot us a dm and we’ll see what we can do!

  • Hi, is it possible to fit a 4070ti in the nzxt build? Thanks.

    • Hi there! It is possible to fit a 4070Ti in it. Shoot us a dm and we can sort something out :)

  • Great to see an ITX build on offer but I feel like these build configs and options always include some weird compromises that suck a good chunk of desirability right out of them, despite generally competitive pricing.

    • Sadly, to get that price down we need some of those comprises. I'd love to be able to offer some full on ITX builds. It's just pricing wise it won't be much different from building it yourself, which seems to be a solid factor around these parts :)

      • I can appreciate that. Limiting the config options to 2 x 8GB sticks, a KF series chip or F series 'upgrade', and set GPU seem like odd choices to me, though; especially when factoring the multiple storage combos on offer. But hey, you cant be expected to make everybody happy!

  • +1

    Any mini-ITX builds on offer?

    • +1

Literally the second option is an itx build

  • Would like to see AM5 build with the 4070ti pairing

  • Not bad at all, if you upgrade everything, it's $3.2k for that Cyclone. You can throw everything at it and achieve 80fps for 4k! What am I missing?

  • For the Tower - Special Edition, any options to swap out the 3060ti for a 6700xt?
