      It runs Huawei's own HarmonyOS.

      Its not comparable to Galaxy Watches or Apple Watches, its a fitness tracker with additional functionality not a smartwatch like the others. With 32MB of RAM vs 1.5GB of RAM (Galaxy Watch 5) or 2GB of RAM (Apple Watch Series 9), you aren't going to be able to run all your fancy smartwatch apps.

      Its RRP is very dubious, I don't see why anyone would pay close to $500 for this.

    I am using this right now on iOS. Right out of the box, it can make calls (I.e., you can use the mic and speaker on the watch) via Bluetooth. Battery life with periodic HR monitoring is around 10-14 days for me. Honestly, for that battery life, calling/notification functionality, HR and exercise monitoring - it is 1000% worth it at the price.

    Also, emojis appear in notifications for iOS users in case anyone was interested

    I use it with Pixel 6 Pro. I can choose all the apps which I want the notifications to come to it. I can do emoji replies to messages, also it takes calls. Battery lasts more than two weeks for me (I don't wear it 24 hours though).

    I used to be a loyal customer of Huawei, but their products and services disappointed me. For its watch, I had the 1st generation of GT, been wearing it for less than 2 years before the touch screen no longer function. Purchased the GT2 pro last June, only on my wrist for less than 3 months till today, repaired for the 1st time under warranty, got it back but completely died out for another two weeks, what's more painful for me is that, they changed their repair centre to another new shop Roadhound in Cardiff which is 135 km from Sydney and that is the only repair centre available to us reside in NSW. This centre received my posted watch (at my own cost) on 5th Jan, and nothing and no feedback to me since then neither from Huawei nor Roadhound even though multiple follow ups, of course made by myself. I'm treating this is a lesson to learn, I'm responsible for every single word I said above.
