Wish it was the smaller size to be honest! Haha

    Thx OP

IMO for many this 6 may be a better option even though a generation older and slightly more. The amount of glass watches I’ve scratched, but I’ve never done that to a sapphire watch (I know they can be scratched, much less likely).

    • Are the newer gen apple watches not sapphire glass?

Only the stainless steel model and above have sapphire glass.

The base model does scratch very easily. If I buy another I’ll probably spring for the sapphire models.

Weird that the smaller size is more expensive, 45mm too big for me

ordered and cancelled by JB order for this watch yesterday. was successfully able to use my Ticwatch 3 LTE with iphone 13 using telstra prepaid esim on watch. No need jump to a postpaid plan to use a LTE watch.

Google assist to control devices, Google wallet works great.

I pulled the trigger with JB hifi, wearing it for 2 day now. So far so good. You can barely tell the case is green, just swap the straps and it'll be dark grey.

What makes this better than the ozbargain favourite Huawei watch with week long battery life?

    • Huawei is a fitness tracker not a smart watch

      • You can call/text also have apps on them. I think they are classed as a smart watch.

    • Holy shit who negs people for simply asking a question ?

      • +2

        Haha crazy isn't it.

I was only asking because I had a Samsung watch with 1 day battery and it drove me mad. I got my partner the Huawei and it lasts a week. I'd hate to pay this much to have to charge every day.

I dont know, but maybe its the presumption that the Huawei (or any other watch) is Ozbargain's "favourite" of whatever category is defined.

How can you really tell without a survey of all members.

  • Bought Thursday night and already delivered today!!! Good service from Amazon.

  • Bought last night and delivered today.
Can confirm it looks dark and almost black. You wouldn’t really know it was green if you weren’t told.
The watch still fits the bands I’ve had from my Gen 1 and Gen 3 watch (bigger sized ones).

During the setup it asks about mobile data. It was a quick login with Optus to enable the number sharing to the phone. A few mins later it was done. Extra $5 per month for me which is not too bad I reckon.

    • Might I ask what’s the Optus plan? I’m looking for the cheapest one. Seems to be the $49/month for 30GB. Current deal at $29/month for 12 months.

      • Basically on an older version of that plan. $45 for 20GB.
