Join and maintain eligible Medibank hospital and extras cover to receive Velocity Points. Plus, waive the 2&6 month waiting periods on extras. Note: Velocity point will be deposited on 4th month. Let's say: $130/week for 16 weeks = $2080 - 1300 (face value of 130k velocity point) = $780/16 weeks = 48$/week. If you claim on extra, this number will get smaller.

Must be a new Medibank member who has not held Medibank or ahm hospital cover in the last 12 months and hold the same eligible cover for 90 consecutive days to be eligible for the Velocity Points.

    130k velocity points if purchased is $3042. Points hacks estimates 1.8c/point as face value, so 130k points is $2340. We pay $130/wk for 12-13 weeks, not 16, since points are deposited after 90days. ROI is decent. Plus the referrer $100 is good too.

      I think this over values the worth of the points. Maybe if you redeem business class flights its closer to 1.8 but for most redeeming economy flights its closer to 1c/p

        Under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, an organisation or agency that must comply with Australian privacy law has to tell you if a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm.

        Many companies don't want to acknowledge breaches, but the law require they do it.

    A singles cover will never reach the $130pw threshold to obtain maximum points - it will have to be a couples cover
