Ordered 3 95 watters for the offices, cheers OP

    • this suitable for Legion 5 Pro when travelling so not to carry the huge adaptor that comes with it?

      • Yeh absolutely - I have the 12700k L5 Pro and it will charge using the 65W one comfortably. If you start gaming it'll eat into the battery but for travel it's perfect. You could probably get away with less. It will only charge from the USB-C on the rear though (the power delivery one)

        • cheers. i have the Ryzen 7 5800H. 65 enough or go 95 to be safe?

          • @bongo007: Go 95 considering it's not that much more extra, future proofing use either way ;)

          • @bongo007: They have the other models on sale as well but not as cheap. I picked up a 135w for mine. I've got the ideapad gaming 3 with the 5800h and rtx3060. I have disabled CPU boost on mine so 135w should be able to run it while gaming but probably isn't enough to charge while gaming.

It's more than suitable for my office dock setup though where the GPU won't be at full load.

So once the cable goes, does this mean the charge goes as well?

I got 3x Gan 100w chargers, not sure if I need this hmmm

    • +1

I threw the 65w charger I got with my Lenovo a few years back and now use 100w baseus GaN charger to charge it, don't need the bulky power pack

    • +5

Yes, the cable is non-replaceable. But it's a Lenovo product so the cable is likely to last the life of your laptop.

Personally, I don't charge my expensive laptop of random third party GaN chargers. I've had one third party charger experience overheating and failed ports, and another where the plastic crumbled to expose bare wiring.

    • They are only 3 pin connected usb type-c.

Plenty of diy solder options on Aliexpress if you need to replace.

      • But it's non-user replaceable?! What are you going to do when St Peter holds you up at the pearly gates and asks why you replaced the cable on your laptop charger!?

        • It's on the low voltage side - no-one is going to die from being electrocuted by 5V.

Having said that, I don't think it's practical to replace the connector by soldering. It won't look good or be robust.

          • +3

            @trongy: *shocked

Electrocuted means you were killed by electricity, if you're not killed, you werent electrocuted

Last time they had such a sale on USB C charger,

They didn't honor a single one.

So only buy in hope they will LIKELY OR NOT LIKELY honor it

I am not buying for this same reason, because I dont think they are going to honor it

    • +8

Yes, that’s why you need to order at least two

    • I just ordered 2 weeks ago at a couple $ less on the education store. Got delivered yesterday, no indication of price errors

    • I ordered a cheap USB 65W from Lenovo and it was honored and posted quickly.

    • It was $15 last time though and people were getting $10 worth of rewards points to use when signing up which may have been the reason they cancelled.
They have delivered when it has been $22.80

  • I haven't (yet) got sent devices that'll charge at 65w or above… But those chargers are pretty good value

  • Says free amazon music 4 months

  • +4

Shouldn't it work with any USB-C device rated for same or lower power draw ? or do you see any concern in using with non lenovo devices

    • +2

I see no concerns with that.

      But then, I’m a relatively unflappable guy…

    • +4

It does. I use my Lenovo laptop charger to charge my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 at work all the time, and that takes 15W. No problems yet!

    • +1

It will work for other USB-C devices. I use my laptop charger to fast charge my phone.

  • +7

looks like they're a couple of bucks cheaper on the business store: $32 for the 95w adapter, $21 for the 65w

    • Nice thanks. Cancelled the normal store and got it via the business account

  • good deal

  • +1

When I try to checkout with Paypal, it accepts the Paypal payment but then cart processing goes to the next step of CC payment. It should go to the review step but doesn't. Not sure what is going on.

    • -1

Same here. Unsure whether the order has gone through and whether I’ve been charged or not…

      • +4

Solved - you have to remove the 'gift' Amazon Music free subscription which is automatically added. That requires CC payment.

        • FREE*
*credit card required you must cancel within 4 months or we'll charge you for another month but its free bro trust me its a good deal**

**i didnt read the terms and conditions and this may not be the case

    https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005003304125505.html?gateway…

stuff like this exist, just so ppl know.
not saying it is a substitute.

  • So this is only for USB-C PD, right? mine one seems non-PD

  • +1

I can't find any info on whether the pen 2 works with Lenovo Duet 2 in 1 10.1"

    Does anyone know?

    • It says supported by Chrome OS.

  • Is there any benefit if it over 65w Anker GaN charger ?

    • +5

It’s heavier, so should be able to keep more papers from blowing off your desk…

      • Also warmer if your feet are generally cold

        • Arguably, it smells less like chicken, too.

Whether you regard this as a positive or a negative is likely to be entirely dependent on whether or not you like fowl aromas…

  • Anyone know if this laptop supports usb c charging? says it has thunderbolt 4 but im not too sure.

    • Check the thunder symbol next to USB-C port, if it has, normally accepts the USB-C charging.
Although, at a glance, the manual does not say so.

      • So if i bought a 65-100w GaN charger would it be able to charge it in a reasonable time?

    • +1

Yeah, should be fine. According to an old post for the laptop it does. You should confirm yourself though.

  • can it charge a macbook pro though?

    • want to know that as well.

    • Shouldn’t be an issue - Charged a Intel and M1 MBP with a few different chargers.

  • -2

    Error - Unable to Purchase

  • Cheers, had been meaning to get a 95w charger for travelling.

  • What's the difference between legion and non-legion model?
Is "Lenovo USB-C 65W AC Adapter(AU)" smaller size than the legion one? Also, I suspect both adapters will come with the AU plug cables?
    Thanks

    • One is 95W, the other is 65W?

      • far out, I need to go to specsavers! thanks….

  • used lenovo rewards to buy. so costing 0$.

  • Was told by the chat support that this won't work on my Lenovo Legion Pro 5i :(

  • +1

Thx, didnt need it so I bought one.

  • Is the power cable included?

    • +1

      Yes.

  • I can't seem to signup. the form doesn't work. Clicking signup doesn't do anything

  • Is it safe to use the 95w or 65w charger on my galaxy ultra 23?

    • Yes your phone will only draw as much as it needs

  • +2

No problems ordering with guest checkout. Lenovo has always had such a dogshit website though. No specifications listed on their site, I found these details on another website.

    GX20Z46233 Lenovo USB-C 95W AC Adapter
    Feature:
    Input: AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz
    Output: 20V 4.75A/ 15V 3A/ 9V 3A/ 5V 3A
    Connector:USB-C

    GX20P92523 Lenovo USB-C 65W AC Adapter(AU)
    Input: AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz
    Output: 5V-2A / 9V-2A / 15V-3A / 20V- 3.25A
    Connector:USB-C

    • What we need is the dimension and weight of the charger brick. From the picture the 95W seems thinner but it could also mean that they're longer and wider.

      • +2

I have a 65W charger that came with my notebook. The dimensions are 30x47x109mm. The wieight, not including the AC cable is approximately 260g.

I can't help you with the 95W model

  • can i use it for dell ?

    • Only if you want your Dell to gradually mutate into a Lenovo over the course of several months.

  • Am I the only one having issues with checkout trying to pay with cc?

    • Remove the Amazon music subscription, tick the box at the bottom and it should be good to go.

  • +1

RIP expired as I was checking out

  • Damn, a man missing out a pen…

  • Was this a price error?

    • +1

Order hasnt been cancelled yet and it was $22.80 before through edu store and those were delivered.

    • +1

I reckon they're just clearing out old inventory for the new-gen GaN chargers on the market which are much smaller and more convenient to travel with…

  • +1

Has anyone got their orders shipped?

    • +2

Nope, but I wouldn't be surprised with Lenovo. My order last time took one week or two to be shipped. Then, it took another 2-3 days to get delivered by DHL.

    • +1

It said ships in 6-9 days when deal was posted. Add in easter and it would likely be longer so might be shipped in next few days unless you ordered later and you need to wait for next batch of stock as it says 3-4 weeks if you order now.

    • Nope. I had a pending charge on my account which has now disappeared, not sure if that means anything…!

      • +1

It gets charged when its shipped.

    • Finally received a notification saying that DHL will deliver my order tomorrow (ordered on 1 April).

      • I ordered on 2nd April.

        Est. Ship Date: 10/05/2023

  • +2

Still nothing, ordered on April 1st…

    • +2

I enquired today , they said out of stock , will be available early May

  • +1

Has any single one got it delivered?

    • I've got a refund on Monday, but no email, explanation or anything (65w)
