    Note that in previous deals with JB/Squaretrade, a loophole existed where you can submit the trade in form with any phone valued >$10, then use the bonus voucher to purchase the phone and afterwards send Squaretrade a message requesting to cancel the trade in. They did not claw back the bonus vouchers, only the trade in credits, and only if this was used.

    Cancelling the trade in as opposed to just not sending it in prevents the IMEI from being barred from future trade ins along with possibly your verification ID.

    If doing this I would recommend not using the trade in credit voucher because that will be charged to your card.

    I'm not sure if this loophole has been closed, so please DYOR. (See Pixel 7 JB-HIFI $300 bonus voucher trade in deal from late last year)

      I only messaged about what would be the process if I wanted to keep the tradein device. The guys just up and up cancelled my tradein order and charged me the trade-in credit. Didnt charge the bonus coupon, but if they do its on them as i didn't ask to cancel the thing!

          Haha yep! SquareTrade only allows 1 trade in per person whilst it's being processed (i.e. until they receive the return device). I got the wifey to do the second trade in. No more stock of 256gb, so got the Flip 4 512gb (price match Amazon for $1049). So effectively free upgrade.

      Sounds like you might not have sent in a phone previously?

      Cancelling the trade-in by email is a better way to keep the phone as the IMEI of the trade in phone won't be blacklisted (probably in addition to the verification ID used).

        Might trade in the flip 4 if they later do a s23 promo, and it might be 'worth more' at a later date given it's a more expensive phone technically and newer.

        Also refreshing warranty is nice.

    Just did this deal in store. Traded in the missus Flip 3 128GB for Flip 4 256GB ($300 trade in + $500 bonus). Price matched Amazon, but the lowest they could go was $912, which apparently is their staff price. Paid $112 difference. Bargain!

        If it says 'country is blocked' most likely the issue is with your IP address rather than IMEI you entered.
