    Collected my C&C this morning and they happily retroactively price matched Amazon and refunded me instore $90.

    So all in all I swapped my 256gb s22 and $48 for a 256gb flip 4 and the leather flap case.

    I just called up jb hifi to price match amazon. Guy on the phone had clearly been busy matching amazon all morning for the flip 4 256gb because as soon as i mention flip 4, he knew the drill.

    Just picked up the Flip 4 having upgraded from the S21.

    Question for the collective: the bonus $500 upgrade expires on 30.04. Does anyone see any reason why I couldn't trade in this Flip in the next couple of weeks, to get an S23? I can't see anything in the terms prohibiting this

    Managed to trade in a bent iPhone 13 (i got for free) with a cracked back and cracked camera lenses and get a quote of $320 for it, applied the bonus $500 credit for a 256GB Z Flip 4, got JB to price match amazon @ $899, and ended up only paying $79 for my new phone! (as i was essentially able to put $820 of credit towards it) I could've gone even more OzB by using discounted gift cards / cashback but too much fussing around. Overall a great result!

      I did the same thing (unable to use trade-in voucher) I lodged a ticket with JB through the website. Today they credited me the trade-in voucher and refunded my c/card.
      I now have to send in the old device……

    JB Hi-Fi site also acting all weird. Ended up trading in a Z3 with the $500 discount and got the Z4 for $224.

    Click and Collect sites were ALL in NSW or WA even though I'm in VIC. Also one side of the Payments screen had the correct amount ($224) and the other did not have the Gift Card discount and showed ($494). However PayPal took out the correct $224 payment. Weird lol…

    Question, i just got a flip 4 using trade in bonus. Now can i trade in that flip 4 again to get a new flip 4. Turns out 256gb they give $550 jbhifi gift card, with$500 bonus trade in thats actually $151 profit with amazon price match . Anyone dare to try?

      I don't think so. When I spoke to a guy over the phone he said the trade in site is a third party organisation that they have no control over. Doing it in store is the same as if you were doing from your own browser at home. You just use one of their computers instore to do the process yourself I think.

      I doubt they want to manage everyones second hand crappy phones.

    Managed to trade in an iphone 7 for the $500 coupon. Went into store, bought tcn gift cards from Target at 10% off. Then went to jb to get the amazon price match but for some reason my $500 coupon wasn't working, so the cashier had to manually discount the phone. Applied the gift cards and I think after all the cash backs it works out to be about $342 for the 256gb model.

          no, only the trade-in credit….so far, they did delete the card details so not sure how they would claw that back. Also I didn't actually ask to cancel it, so they messed up.

    So i tried to price match online - the support team will not do it for existing orders only new ones. They said the coupons have to be reissued…. not known when that could be done. I am going to keep the order - It's a 90$ diff but not worth losing out.

    an update, i asked the square trade team if I wanted to cancel my tradein as I would like to keep it - they just went ahead and cancelled my tradein and charged my card for the tradein value

    Okay…so I went on chat and the guy knew straight away what I was asking about. He sent me a link with the matched price. Said I could return the in-store purchase at any JB store. But then luck of draw if the store will match, otherwise will have to use the link and purchase online and select click and collect or postage, but the phone I returned may not appear straight away on the system. He said if online order has to be returned online too. So went to my usual JB and the guys recognised me and they returned and let me repurchase at the 899 price.

      I was there this morning. They apparently couldnt enter in the voucher amount, and what i presume is the manager said that because i price matched amazon the coupon wont work. While i was at the counter, a gentleman beside me was also trying to get his coupon applied, and the lady serving him said its strange and that it used to work. They got me to give them my name and number to call me later.

      They called and said its an "Australian wide" issue and there's nothing they can do. Luckily i had managed to get an amazon price matched link on jb hi fi website chat and was able to complete the order online with voucher applied.

      They didnt seem happy when i told them i found my own way to do it.

    Live chat didn't work for me, so I called and price matched with Amazon for $899.
