              @Chumpmaster: Yeah I had it in my cart but the only option at the time was like a Friday delivery and it said requires someone to sign and as luck had it I was going to be out all that day. In hindsight I wish I opted for a pick up location, but I didn't and missed it and continue to be gutted that I didn't do that. So now I can't bring myself to spend a cent more than that price lol

        Thats just a trade in credit. You should receive an email soon. Inside that email scroll down and click on banner that says redeem your voucher and then you should get a new email with extra 500$ credit voucher

                  @michael9865: Yeah you get the trade in credit instantly. They keep your credit card details in the event that you don't return your phone, they'll charge you the trade in value.

                  With JB Hi-Fi Trade-In, your trade-in credit is provided to you via an eGift Card, before we receive your old device back. This allows you to upgrade to a new device sooner. Your credit card details are required should your old device not be returned within 5 days, in which case your credit card will be charged for the value of the trade in credit. Once your old device is received and its condition verified, your credit card details are deleted.

                @kwkp16: Yep. So in the case of a 256GB Flip4 it will be $989 (Current promo price) - $500 (Trade in bonus) - $XXX (Trade in credit) = Price you pay.

                My S21 FE was a $270 trade in, so in total I paid 989-500-270=$219 for the Flip4.

                If you don't send in your phone then trade in credit will be charged to your card, but you'll keep the bonus $500.

I called a JB Hi Fi store and the operator told that the credit card will be charged $500 + trade in value. The website says trade-in value will be charged to the provided credit card. I am confused.

                    @merocky5: It's always been that the trade-in value will be charged. T&Cs say the same.

                    I've never seen anyone get charged the bonus credit, not to say that won't ever change though.

          Are you sure? Late last year I used a similar JB trade in deal for a Pixel 7 and after acquiring the phone, just cancelled the trade in with Squaretrade (the trade in provider). They did not charge me for the bonus trade in coupon, and according to the ozb thread no one else who either cancelled the trade in or didn't send the trade in phone in was charged for the bonus. In the latter case, people were just charged for the trade in value of the phone.

      Yeah that's right, you get the regular trade in value ($70) when you send the phone in within 7 days of registering but you instantly get sent a $500 voucher to your email when you fill out the details.

      What phone? If it's for the Flip4 you need to be purchasing the 256 or 512gb model. 128 is ineligible.

    Alright guys sharing my process if it helps :)
    - trade in s21 5g for $230 coupon
    - receive $500 discount coupon from email after trade in
    - brought $50 gc via cashback 10% off ultimate gc
    - Use $120 of $150 gc via prezzee easter
    - also price matched amazon so 256GB becomes $899 (unfortunately cant do online anymore after 6)
    total cash paid: 40 (50x0.9) + 112 (120 x 0.94) = $152
    $152 + laggy old s21 = flip4

    With all values gone up , the only benefit = $500 bonus if you can find aT least $10 credit ( good luck finding one ) and they know this . I would trade in if this is a deal for Samsung fold .
