      Yeah. In the first email you get your trade-in credit as a JB gift card in an attachment. In that same email you will select the bonus coupon that you want. The bonus coupon will then be sent in a second email.
      
      When the phone is added to your cart, you'll add your $500 bonus coupon during the first stage of the checkout as a coupon code. You add the trade-in credit JB gift card at the payment screen.
      
      If you didn't add the gift card (using the card number and PIN attached to the first email) then you'll still have that available to use on something else at JB.
      
      So in total you'll add the "$500 Bonus" as a coupon code. Your $90 trade in value is a JB gift card that will be added as a payment method during the last stage of the checkout.

        @morpheous: Hi @morpheus. I did the same as you, traded in the Galaxy tab for $90, but wasn’t able to apply the trade-in voucher.
        Lodged an online ticket through the website & their customer support corrected it for me. They deducted $90 from the purchase price & issued it to me a c/card refund.
        It means I have to send in the A8 tablet, but I won’t miss it, hardly ever touched it.

I went to JB HiFi to do this deal (having already got the voucher for trading in my GP6Pro for $300 sorted). The guy said they are having an IT glitch JB HiFi wide where the voucher code isn't working and took down my details and said they'll call me when things are sorted. So I wasted a visit.

Looking at OzBargain, seems like this was either BS or a momentary thing? The sales person said they'll honour the deal (including Amazon price match at $899) and put one aside for me but starting to feel less convinced reading this thread…

  I did this deal on Thursday afternoon, and couldn't complete it on store cos of the "IT issue". There were 4 people in the store trying to pay for the same deal. The sales staff generated a quote for me and sent it to my phone as a sms. I completed the transaction online as a "click & collect", and they processed the "collect" in about 10 mins.

So not sure if this is a flaw but you can get sent multiple discount coupon for s23, s23+ etc even if you redeem the original S23 Ultra/flip coupon.
Not sure how if they limit the use though as looks like the coupons do work. those are valid till 30/april. May as well get them and watch for price drops on s23/plus to pick another bargin?

I got the official samsung black leather case with flap for my 256gb flip4 and it's quite nice—-but it has flaws.

It adds thickness obviously, and the texture is good, BUT… there is a piece of metal (that is well finished and looks great, suits it well) but the corners of it seem to be so sharp. So annoying. Anyone else grab this case from JB or amazon and have the same issue?

Might grab out some sandpaper and take it to the corners but it's a gloss finish…. may need to be matte…

i ended up getting the 512gb model, as it seems like 256gb is sold out everywhere in SA instore and online.

I got a decent $330 for my s21 256gb model (from the optus harvey norman deal 2 yrs ago)

$330+500 coupon = $830

$1049 (amazon price match) - $830 = $219 out of pocket.

not bad at all!! would of been better with the 256 model but decided too late on the deal!

FYI re the "IT Glitch", they allow you to purchase using your trade in credit and then, whenever they fix the issue, you can go to any JB HiFi and get them to apply the $500 discount. This is what JB HiFi Nunwading assured me today.

I am not sure what to do now, i didn't use the $400 gift card they gave for my fold 2, but I don't want to send it in. I just used the bonus one

        @wearabloodymask: From previous users posts, they ban you if you don't send your trade in phone in. However, if you email them before the 7 day period and tell them that you're not sending your phone in, they will cancel the trade in, charge your credit card and release the details they hold. This way they won't ban you.

  Hahaha I did the same. I got $300 trade in for Flip 3 128Gb and paid $112 difference for upgrade to Flip 4 256Gb. Did a second trade in (using missus' ID), which gave $550 trade in value. Traded in directly for a Flip 4 512Gb. Emailed and cancelled both trade-ins.
  Sold Flip 3 for $400 and Flip 4 for $750 on FB Marketplace. Overall made $188 profit + a brand new Flip 4 512Gb. lol
